recently i used to program cy8c5588axi with miniprog3? and that was ok.
but then i had to reinstall the system and now i have errors
1) FAILED! PSoC device is not acquired! Check connection of the chip to the programmer
or
2) the chip id isn't in database
i tried psoc programmers 3.11, 3.15.1, 3.18, 3.19 and both they didn`t work

Show Lessdays ago buy a development kit and the 001 modload of PSoC 1 is not wanted or burn me run any program I've done or who are in the sample page cypres
Show LessI will no be using external analog core regulator and digital core regulator of PSoC. i.e I will not be using terminals VCCD, VCCA in CY8C5868AXI-LP035.
So, should I ground them or leave them unconnected?
Show LessHallo,
I have a very simple question. I'm using a CY8C29466 and I need to change the status of 3 output pins (defined as 'Strong' drive) and named SEL0, SEL1, SEL2. All of them belongs to the same port P2 specifically P2[1], P2[3], P2[5].
Is it possible to change the status of all pins at once using the base register of the port? If yes.. how?
Since these pins would 'comand' a mux device change them one by one would lead to some unpredictable status on the final demultiplexed output channels.
Best Regards,
Michele
Show LessWhen i tried to program a precision rectifier on PSoC 5LP the main power supply LED started blinking. The PSoC creator cannot detect the module anymore. The LED blinks when SW3 is kept on 5V but is steady for 3.3V. In either case it does not get detected while selecting the debug target. The PSoC 3 module gets detected and the power supply LED stays stable for both SW3 at 5V or 3.3V. This has led me to believe that PSoC 5LP is damaged. How do I check if the module is working? Can I buy the module separately if it is indeed damaged? My project deadline is due this week and I really need to find a way out. Please help.
Show LessHello Everyone, I need some tips for my project..
I am trying to read data from 4 sonar sensors, after that, i want to take the max value of all of them and average them.
Thanks.
Show LessHi all
I create a table in flash just '0' and '1' and use DMA transferring to GPIO. I expect to generate 5MHz clock output from GPIO, but the maximum clock output always is 3MHz. I use a clock as a DMA hardware request (rising edge). Although increasing triggering clock to 24MHz, the clock output from GPIO is the same 3MHz clock output. How to increase output clock to 5MHz or higher?? Is there a speed limitation??
Device: CY8CKIT-050 PSoC 5LP
BUS CLOCK: 48MHz
Thanks
Show LessHI all,
I have a question regarding programming features of the CY8C38xx devices.
In our application we would like to program the CY8C38xx device mainly from JTAG, but using I2C bootloader we would also like to program Cypress device via I2C, easyiest way to fix bugs 🙂 but I am concern because part of the internal flash it will be used to store vital parameters (calibration values, settings, etc...)
ARM based MCU's have this fabulous features that users can program only the specific part of the internal flash (single banks). I am wonder how is this done in Cypress?
If anyone can point me any document describing JTAG functionality or give me an advice on how to do this partial programming.
Thanks a lot. Sash
