Hi,
I want to use a 14 or 16 Bit ADC using my PSOC 5LP Board. I am unable to find it. Only 12 Bit ADC is being shown.
Looking forward for your reply.

Show LessI'm using the CY8C21534 with the I2CHW UM as slave. Capacitive sensors are scanned and when a sensor is active, I set a GPIO line low. The I2C master device detects this falling edge on the GPIO line and starts to read the I2C data from the CY8C21534. When the CY8C21534 receives the address byte, I need to immediatly set the GPIO line back high again. How can I do that? Where can I generate an interrupt when the address byte is received?
Show LessHi,
I am interested in this product...
http://www.digikey.com/product-search/en?KeyWords=CY8ckit-059&WT.z_header=search_go
The board contains this mcu http://www.cypress.com/?mpn=CY8C5888LTI-LP097. I see from the table that it does not have dedicated UART, does this mean the device cannot be used for serial communication ?? (ie: does not have a UART port ??)
Also what about software UART in PSOC creator ?? Can this be used instead ?? how does it compare with hardware UART ??
I am using the cy8ckit-049-42xx currently, this has several UARTs....
Please also could anyone suggest a low cost dev. board that has USB host feature ?? I would like to develop a USB pen drive reader application for my project.
thanks

Show LessHI !
I would need use all the pins showed in the attached PDF for interrupt, for detect switch pressed.
Psoc doesn't let me set interrupt art both separete pins of Port 12
I cannot set interrupt at pin 12[4] and 12[5] with the pin configuration box so that I do not get building errors.
Pins 12_0 12_1 12_2 12_3 have set falling edge interrupt with the pin configuration box.
Please refer at tge PDF
Thank you very much
Show LessI have 2 of these, now my question is with a 32.768 khz crystal
most of the crystals I can find on ebay have a load of 12.5pf, the board has 22pf caps.. will it work or what do I need to do.. I only need 2 crystals at most.. prolly just one cause I want to make a clock with it.
my other question is how best to be able to set the time?
Show LessHi,
I'm using the CY8C21534 and need to switch bleed resistor between P1[1] and P1[4]. I followed the application note CE66058 and came to the routines:
void Connect_Rb_to_P1_4(void)
{
/*Disconnect P1[1] from Global Out buses*/
PRT1GS &= ~0x02;
/*Change the drive mode to High Z Analog*/
PRT1DM0 &= ~0x02;
/*Disable the comparator connection to GOO1*/
CMP_GO_EN &= ~0x40;
/* Change Analog LUT Control Register 0 */
ALT_CR0 &= ~0xc5;
ALT_CR0 |= 0x0c;
/*Enable the comparator connection to GOO4*/
CMP_GO_EN |= 0x08;
/*Change the drive mode of the pin to open drain low*/
PRT1DM0 |= 0x10;
/*Connect P1[4] to Global out bus*/
PRT1GS |= 0x10;
}
void Connect_Rb_to_P1_1(void)
{
/* Disconnect P1[4] from Global Out buses */
PRT1GS &= ~0x10;
/* Change the drive mode to High Z Analog */
PRT1DM0 &= ~0x10;
/* Disable the comparator connection to GOO4 */
CMP_GO_EN &= ~0x08;
/* Change Analog LUT Control Register 0 */
ALT_CR0 &= ~0x0c;
ALT_CR0 |= 0xc5;
/* Enable the comparator connection to GOO1 */
CMP_GO_EN |= 0x40;
/* Change the drive mode of the pin to open drain low */
PRT1DM0 |= 0x02;
/* Connect P1[1] to Global out bus */
PRT1GS |= 0x02;
}
But it doesn't seem to work. Can it be that I need to change some other registers also?
Thanks.
Show LessHi,
I am a very new user of Psoc. My project is a device like a phonocardiograph . As input I am getting an audio signal of heart beating captured with mic. The signal is noisy and I am looking for a filter to clear the signal before frequency filtering and other processing.
Very appriciate your help!
Thanks
Show Less Hello
I am using the psoc UC that I have attached picture of.
My quistion. Can I use P1.1 and P1.0 as analog inputs? Right now I have set them up to be analog inputs only to check if the port is high or not (checking for a button to be pushed). Though it seems that it fails now and then, and I cant find a failure in the code, and worked long time with it. Is it wrong of me to check these ports for high or low using: "if (PRT1DR & pin1{}"?
Select: globalinodd
Drive: high z
Thanks in advance
