Hi,
I have the same radar module as shown here, I have taken the XeThru arduino library and ported it to work the the PSOC UART API. However I am still not receiving anything from the radar unit. To debug I have just connected an arduino to the UART of the PSOC to get it to read back the data I am sending which all appears valid.
The radar unit operates at 2.8V and I am using a level shifter (same one shown in the link). My setup matches that of the sample project with the exception of the PSOC.
I have attached my project, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am using a PSOC cy8c29466 collecting data from a spi adc. I am bit bashing the IO to generate the SPI interface. my question is
can I get the this route to run alone in a single thread and store the values in registers. and write another thread for the uart to read the registers. or is this PSOC single thread only?

Show LessHello.
I'm evaluating the CY3280-BK1 CapSense Basic Kit 1. The PSoC Designer and PSoC Programmer work with the CY3280-20x34 properly. But I have a problem with Bridge Control Panel. I have loaded the file CY3280-20x34.iic. The connection with the I²CUSB bridge works but when I click Send with 'Send all strings' ticked I allways get the error message "Script has syntax error! First error: [Line=12:Position=6]".
These are the only two lines in the file:
W 04 00 00 R 04 @Sensor_Index @1RawCount @0RawCount @1Baseline @0Baseline @ButtonStatus @SliderPosition
Line 12, Position 6 is where the @ of @Sensor_Index begins.
I use an older notebook with Win XP. The Bridge Control Panel Software Verision is 1.6.0.1322.
On the board there is the standard CY3280_20x34_SLM flashed.
Do you have any idea?
Thanks!
Show LessHi all,
I have been trying to configure emwin package with PSoC creator with no succes, and I am stuck.
I have followed one by one all the indications in the document file.
In the end I have tryed with a new workspace, a new blank project, configure compiler and linker as indicated for ARM GCC, no other files included, no other code, just blank project and emwin configured as indicated in the document, if I build it i get:
Build error: The command 'arm-none-eabi-gcc.exe' failed with exit code '1'.
I have been searching in the many post in the forum for emwin, but I have not find any solution for my problem.
Has anyone any suggestion?
Regards,
Miguel
Show LessNew to the CY8CKIT, previously I used other brand of Cortex M3.
I made a small program which includes Systick, UART ( Rx interrupt (large buffer) Tx internal interrupt, LCD
Systick simply flashes LED.
When compiled in debug mode works OK
When compiled in release LED doesn't flash, but UART and LCD works fine.
Seems that only one time is called the Systick ISR.
Any help, please

Show LessHello, I want to use the EZ BLE module as a pass thru of RS-232 data to phone app.
I was able to do it using a different vendor's module without the need of programming, just pulling some pins to ground and some to VCC. I think it already had a software stack running in it.
Is there such a thing using the EZ BLE module?
If so, can anybody provide specific document or information?
Thanks,
Show LessHi all, i don't fully understand this way of printf-like debug technique, but searching on the forum i find this thread(component):
http://www.cypress.com/forum/psoc-creator-software/real-time-trace-swvserial-wire-viewer-psoc3
There´s a example project for PSOC5LP processor, so i change it to match the device on the 5lp prototyping kit, and can´t get nothing out of the P1[3] pin, later i found on the .dwr file that this pin is "blocked" for debug purposes, also this pin is routed to the J5 Program/Debug header, has anyone make this project run on this board? do i must place a digital output pin in the schematic and then assign into the .dwr?
I think there's nothing to change on the system tab of the .dwr, theres an option for debug select SWD/SWV.
I will try to get the data from ITM into Sigrok (PulseView) protocol analyzer/decoder software.
Here´s a post about ITM trace debugging on STM32 processors and sigrok:
http://essentialscrap.com/tips/arm_trace/theory.html

Edit: It works out-of-the-box!!!, the problem was pulseview, i can see all the traces with saleae software 🙂

Show LessHello,
I have a PSoC5 that I wish to udpate the firmware in the field by inserting an SD card into the SD card slot. This does not seem to fit the bootloader/bootloadable solution that Creator supplies inherently. Do I need to create my own bootloader system to accomplish this?
Thanks

Show LessHi All,
Has anyone designed a psoc to read j1939 protocal over CAN?
I have been looking an have not had any sucess. I know about the elm electronics chip, I would like to be able to do it without adding hardware to my project.

Show LessHi
I want to know how to assign ,port pin as input pin
I know about assigning as output ,
for this in pin out section ,i am renaming the port pin which i wanted to make as output ,then make it drive strong
and in program file i can do below code for using it
#define RL1_Off RL1_Data_ADDR &= ~RL1_MASK ,for making port pin low
#define RL1_On RL1_Data_ADDR |= RL1_MASK ,for making port pin high
in the same way i want to make port pin as input pin ,for this make it drive High Z ,i have read making port pin High Z it can be used as input
but at code side how to access it ,or check with the port pin name assigned by us whether it is high or low
I am using PSoc5.4 design and cy8c22545
