I hope with the DAC6 output a 0V~2V Vpp PWM waveform.(CY8C27443_24PVXI)
The DAC6 module to connect AnalogOutBuf_3 to P02 output.
But,DAC6 Initializes the output overshoot.
I hope P02 initialize output has been 0V.
What should I do?
Now operating:
DAC6_1_WriteStall(0);
DAC6_1_Start(DAC6_1_FULLPOWER);
Module Configuration
DAC6_1:
1.ASC23
2.AnalogOutBus_3
3.Normal
4.OffsetBinary
P02:
AnalogOutBuf_3
High Z Analog
DisableInt
0
Show LessGood Morning,
I am using the CY8C9560A module and I am trying to communicate with it through I2C. Using the Arduino SDA and SCL works without any problems, but when I try to use the USB-I2C(http://www.robot-electronics.co.uk/htm/usb_i2c_tech.htm) and USB-ISS(https://www.robot-electronics.co.uk/htm/usb_iss_tech.htm) converters and I get no response. I know it only supports I2C standard (100Khz), anyway I set the USB-ISS to 100Khz but without success. Is something missing? For example some kind of configuration. Has anyone ever come across this problem?
I am trying to send the following commands to address 0x40 (using Arduino is 0x20):
To select port 0:
55 40 18 01 00
To set the port as output:
55 40 1C 01 00
Enable Outputs Alternately:
55 40 08 01 AA
But no luck.
Sending equivalent commands through Arduino works fine:
20 18 00
20 1C 00
20 08 AA
Thank you so much.
Greetings,
Júlio Ferreira
We have implemented an LVDT driver/decoder and it works fine. Measuring resolution to .0001mm.
However, as you slowly scroll up through the 14-bits worth of counts produced by the A/D converter, there will be spots of noise every
256 counts where the noise goes to +/- 20 counts instead of +/- 1 count. This is not the normal noise at the
ends of the A/D range on the delta-sigma converter but a very repeatable noise in 64 places over the 16k counts.
The LVDT circuit was removed and a pure DC voltage was put into the A/D instead: Same noise spots so I'm convinced
it's inside the chip. Any ideas where this noise is coming from? Also, I'm not the original programmer of the device. I
am a test engineer. Thanks.
Show LessHi every one!
Is there a way , in assembler, to define constant tables with DWORD (32 bits)values on it?
Or the only way is splitting in 16 bit values?
i.e.
High_Word_Tab:
dw 0x0000
Low_Word_Tab:
dw 0xffff
Thanks
Luis
Show LessHi there :
i am working on a project using CY8C2966-24PVXI it's powered with 5v from regulator,it was working good without problems suddenly it started pull current up to 300 mAmp, so i removed my codes from it and reset it , now it is connected on board without code and functions but it still consumed (drawing )250mAmp and Its temperature rises rapidly , it's very hot
it is now damaged ?
what is a max current psoc1 should drawing from power supply ??
Hi all,
Working with a fresh install of Designer 5.4 SP1 and .CY8C22345-24SXIT.
When attempting to build the following errors are thrown:
name translation failed on C:/Program\ Files\ (x86)/Cypress/PSOCDE~1/5.4/Common/CYPRES~1 - 3
name translation failed on C:\Program - 2

B4347c1 - 1 error(s) 0 warning(s) 08:54:30
I attempted one 'fix' by following the directions at the bottom of the thread found here, but the error still persists after the reinstall.
This project was created on an 'old' workstation that has been replaced, the project was copied over to this new workstation without being modified in any way.
Any ideas?
Show LessI have configured my device to sleep and wake up on a I2C address match through I2C0. When I hit Debug in PSoC Creator the device is able to wake up as expected. However, when I hit the Program icon the device goes to sleep but I am unable to wake it up. I have snapped off the KitProg in case it had something to do with it but it didn't make any difference.
I guess I am making a silly mistake.. Any ideas?
Show Lesshi
I'm using psoc 5lp, and I'm using EEPROM in my project
I have very basic problem with EEPROM, that I can't write or read
I wrote this code, note sure about its problem:
EEPROM_Start();
EEPROM_WriteByte(0xaa, 7);
int a = 0;
a = EEPROM_ReadByte(7);
and I have another question too, in "EEPROM_WriteByte(0xaa, 7)" function, did I wrote address true? how sould I address?
Show LessHi,
I've several Prototyping kits and Pioneer Kits with different board revisions. I can't find any documentation about the revision differences, it seems that only the documentation file revisions are stated in the corresponding user guides. But no information regarding the board revisions itself in the kit documentation or kit release notes. Even the schematic circuit shown in the user guides doesn't state the board revision.
Would be nice if Cypress would make an overview file for the kit revisions.
Regards,
Ralf
