Hello,
I am using Cypress PSoC 5LP CY8C5888LT*-LP097 with PSOC 4.2
Flash used: 46204 of 262144 bytes (17.6%).
SRAM used: 60465 of 65536 bytes (92.3%). Stack: 2048 bytes. Heap: 2048 bytes.
When I enable speed optimization I get the following exception during runtime
I tried to Increase the Heap to 4K or 6 K but it dosn't help
How to overcome this problem?

Show LessI am designing new board with psoc 5lp device. I only have one supply voltage of 3.3V in a separate plane and also one gnd plane.
the design is only digital with uart ,i2c and 1-wire communications.
Can I connect all the voltage ports like VCCA, VDDA, VCCD,VDDD, VDDIOs directly to the 3.3V plane (with the required capacitors to GND plane)
and all the gnd ports like VSSA,VSSB,VSSD directly to the GND plane?

Hello,
I am using PSOC Creator 4.2 ,
when I changed a pin name I get this error,
I tried to remove the generated files related tot his pin and remove the pin from design and start again but it's didn't help.
attached screenshot from the message I get
and the following lines are from the output window of PSoc Creator

Show LessAlright, I searched and couldn't find anything about support for the CY8C28 family of chips even though the CY8CKIT came with a CY8C28 module, shown as still being part of the package and being sold separately (see http://www.cypress.com/documentation/development-kitsboards/cy8ckit-020-psoc-cy8c28-family-processor-module-kit) and the chips are still being produced.
So, how is one supposed to use them?
How is one supposed to program them if PSoC Creator no longer supports the CY8C28 family (the module is not in the Target hardware list and the chips are not in the Target device list)?
PSoC Designer can't be used because Adobe SVG Viewer isn't supported nor available for download on its site and as I have Windows 10, an old Win98 or XP version may not work anyway.
Can Cypress please clarify?
Show LessHi
We use miniprog3 programmer for uC CY8C22545(ISSP) in our production, but programming time is aprox. 25 sec.
I would like to ask if is possible speed up programming time ( used another programmer, firmware upgrade or...).
PSOC programmer version 3.13.1.1036
Thank you
Show Lessaccording to datasheet, number sixth it says it supports single or burst read/writes.i can implement single read/writes and read data from accelerometer register and the value of x,y,z is 0,0,1 respectively.but now i try to burst read to get data from register and the value of x,y,z is 0,0,-0.12 respectively.
could someone help me for this?here is my project.
Show Lesshello
i have implemented full can functionality in psoc5lp borad, using psoc5 and microchip CAN analyser
how can i implement can of OBD2 with psoc5 can?
does anyone have example code for that?
thanks
Show LessHow can I use a UART on a PSoC5LP at 3Mbps with DMA?
If I use a UART with a 24MHz input clock and 8x oversampling, everything is fine.
If I now connect two DMA components to it, I get setup time violations.
I have already tried reducing the temperature range.
Is there any way to make this work?
Can I ignore the warning if I know that my actual temperature range will be 25ºC ± 10ºC

Hi There,
I couldn't program my new CY8CKIT-059 Prototyping Kit.
The Programmer always said:
Program Finished at 18:04:35 | | Programming Terminated | Detected JTAG ID: "2E 16 10 69" is not in database Program Requested at 18:04:35 | Successfully Connected to KitProg/051C163503274400 at 18:04:15 | KitProg Version 2.14
I'm using the recent version of PSoC Programmer 3.24.0
In PSoC Creator 3.3 SP 1 it's the same thing.
I've reinstalled the Programmer and the Creator a several times, without success.
Thanks for your help.
Regards Sven

5. You can use either the absolute address (0x5151) or the alias (Input_Signal_PS) in your code to address the port
pin state register.
You can find out the alias names for the Component registers from the “.h” generated file of the Component.
These files are automatically generated by PSoC Creator when you build the project.
I have several Basic Counters (16 bit up counter) and D FlipFlops (16 bit latch) in a PSoC5LP in KIT-059.
I have built the design.
There are no .h files for these components.
Questions:
1) what components does the ap note refer to when it uses "components"
2) is it possible to capture the count of these counters and DFF via DMA operations?
3) if so, how? details please
4) apparently all logic done in UDBs have registers that (presumably) can be read via DMA
how does one find out which registers are associated with what components built from/in UDBs?
5) if not, any suggestions on how to recover the values?
