PSoC™ 5, 3 & 1 Forum Discussions
Hello All!
I’m currently facing a problem:
We have purchased a license for Keil/ARM MDK which is fine for PSoC4 and 5 as long as I’m using a ULINK pro. But it does not work with a ULINK Plus, which I need for (in our case) not so rare occasions when developing smaller projects with 5V. I also found Segger J-Link Ultra not working. To me it appears that the flashloader built into µVision is doing something wrong.
Keil/ARM tell me that they need Cypress to at least assist in fixing this.
Is there a chance that Cypress will do so in the near future? It would help me very much.
Best regards,
Andreas
Show LessHello Cypress team,
we have connected four cy8c9560a io expander with i2c 7 bit address of 0x20,0x21,0x22 and 0x23 respectively
But ICs are responding with only address 0x20 and 0x21. currently two ICs responding with 0x20 and other two with 0x21
We have connected A1 directly to VCC or GND and A0 connected to VCC or GND through 100k resistor
0x22 and 0x23 address is not working
Please help us to solve this issue
Any register configuration is required for changing mode of A1 pin.
Show LessADC_DEL is missing anybody pls tell me how to fix this issue.Your answer would be very valuable for me.
hello, I'm trying to use a library that I found for the 5lp psoc (GitHub - LASER-UD/RC522 ), but it's not responding, someone has a library working for this module?
Show LessHi,
I have a cy8ckit-059. I would like to use pins P15[2] and P15[3] as GPIOs, but they're wired to the 32.768kHz RTC crystal. Is there any way to do that, short of desoldering the crystal and its capacitors?
Thank you,
Bob
Show LessWe're designing a new product based on CY8CKIT-033A. We use the midi interface to control an application running on iPhone device.
After the last update to iOS13 midi interface doesn't work properly. The midi interface is recognized by the app only the first time. After a disconnection there's no way to restore the midi link. Only a swith off and switch on of the iPhone restore the link for one shot. Before the iOS update everything worked fine. Does Cypress provide to fix this bug?
Thank you

Show LessHello community,
I'm trying to write to the microSD card as fast as I can. Unfortunately, there seems to be a considerable amount of time between each byte.
Oscilloscope showing the clock emFile.sclk0 clocking out bytes (ignore the upper line).
(Apologies for the low quality oscilloscope)
As shown above, the period time between bytes is nearly four times as much as the time it takes to clock out the byte itself. I assumed that emFile is inflexible and a hidden layer of the code, but the amount of time between bytes makes the write time quite long, even though my master clock (MASTER_CLK) is running at 48MHz. Is there any way of increasing the efficiency of writing short of getting a new file system module?
Thanks!

Show LessHi,
Could someone tell me if there is a way to use Serial memory interface on PSoC 5 LP??
Also, is quad-SPI something that can be used with PSoC 5? If yes, how to use it?
Appreciate any help.
Thank you.
Show LessI have an existing application that uses PSoc 5LP with a USBUART for a standard USB port. I connect it to a PC (Thinkpad w530) for debut OUTPUT from the PSoC. When the cable is plugged in, the port Enumerates as expected, but then NO application can connect to it. I cannot find any application that is attempting to use it, but my terminal emulator says it cannot connect. Disconnect and reconnect the cable, and it Enumerates again, but I cannot connect to it.
I have found the existing documentation very confusing; there are examples for USBUART and USBFS, but I cannot even tell which is appropriate.
The USBUART component connects to a 'datasheet' for USBFS, and documents the USBFS function calls.
CE95396 USB UART with PSoC 3-5LP.zip contains examples for USBUART_1_xxx(), which I cannot find documented.
This is all hopelessly confusing.
Help! Steve
