PSoC™ 5, 3 & 1 Forum Discussions
I am trying to understand interrupts for PSoC 5LP, using Kit-059.
AN54460 shows the architecture of the interrupt, and is reasonably clear.
For interrupt project 2, section 4.2 PICU Interrupt Project, there are two interrupts:
PICU interrupt that occurs when a button is pushed thereby changing the port register value
Tick interrupt that occurs to accomplish de-bouncing (at 1 kHz).
If I understand what's happening:
the Tick interrupt happens at a 1 kHz rate (1 ms).
when a switch is pressed, the PICU interrupt appears to set a countdown variable
counted down by the Tick interrupt
so, my questions:
1) please correct my view of what's happening
2) where do i put my code to be executed when a switch is pressed?
3) can variables be passed back and forth between the interrupt routines and the main routine? if so, how?
(or, maybe better, can the interrupt set a flag or value, so that the code can be executed in main, instead of in the interrupt routine?
4) i am not following the turning on and off of interrupts or maybe i'm not distinguishing between on and off vs set and clear functions
5) what is the sequence of events (by line number??) before a switch is pushed, when a switch is pushed, and after a switch is pushed?
thank you for your help and patience
Show LessHello.
The customer board includes CY8C3866LTI-030/DIE device.
I'm trying to build Boundary Scan test for this board with JTAG Technologies Provision tool.
The system does not recognize the device. (All ones on TDO).
By PSoC3 programmer with MiniProg3 adapter in JTAG mode the device recognized with IR=4, DR=35. Please look attached file.
But by the BSDL file it includes 137 bits DR.
We have checked all lines by scope and TMS, TCK, TDI lines looks good with 1.8V level. But TDO line is no active.
What wrong?
Any help will be appreciable.
Show LessTo all,
A LPF component for the PSoC5 now exists!
A LPF (Low-Pass Filter) Component -- Finally!!!

Show LessHello,
PSOC5LP contain two analog low pass filter modules, but there is not much about them in the documentation. Does anyone know their parameters (approx. cutoff frequency and slope per octave)?
Best regards, Piotr
Show LessHello everyone,
Dose anyone use the LPF component before? Why do i cannot find this component in Creator 2.2(the components have updated to 3.3)?Then,without this component ,how should i realize a arbitrarily RC LPF with the kit resource.Thanks.
Show LessI can't find the LPF component in my PSoC creator (using CY8C5888LTI for the project), but the Resource Meter showing there are two unused
Here is the screen shot of the Component Catalog
Do I need to install additional libraries?
Show LessThe default mode is high impedance but this doesn't work well with a self powered device. If you pull the USB connector it can take a long time for the VBus line to drift low. It's a legal selection for the pin but don't want to cause any unwanted issues although I think an SIO is fairly hardy.
Show LessI am getting an error of analog routing solution when i try to connect Amux,Opamp and Adc.
can anyone help me to solve this error?
I am attaching my workplace over here.
Thanks,
Show LessI am using 5LP and need 1.024V Vref in the schematic.
Because all 4 Comparators are used, I am not allowed to "AutoEnable" the 1.024V Vref, the Datasheet says Vref needs to be manually enabled in analog block.
But I cannot find the instructions for how to manually enable Vref.
Can someone help me on this?
Thanks.
