Hello I am trying to program CY8C24x23A chip using CY8CKIT-059 and application note AN44168. Is it possible to use HSSP to do so?
I also ran into some issues that CY8C58888LTI-LP097 is available in PSoC creator 4.2 and CY8C24423A-24PVXI is available in PSoC Designer 5.4
Thank you!
Show LessHi all,
I am trying to import a component (file attached to email). I followed the tutorial video from Cypress on how to import components. My problem is that whenever I import it, the component does not appear on the Component Catalog on the right. Any suggestions?
Show LessHello All!
I'm using USBFS on a 5LP and need to add Binary Device Object Store (BOS) descriptors to allow the device to support WebUSB. See:
1. USB in a NutShell - Chapter 5 - USB Descriptors
2. Access USB Devices on the Web
3. arduino/library/WebUSB at gh-pages · webusb/arduino · GitHub
Most references I find about BOS and USBFS appear to apply only to the Link Power Management feature of the PSoC 4200L. Has anyone found a good way to implement this?
Thank you for the advice.
Show LessHaving trouble controlling multiple Servos. Software works using a PWM, however when I connect the GND, the servo doesn't turn. Using an external power supply with a standard set up. Common GND and Signal to Pin 1.7. If I disconnect the GND the Servo spins clockwise continuously. How can I set up the circuit to provide an external power supply and thus not fry my board. Unfortunately the Youtube tutorials are all for Arduino and this isn't working.
Show Lessi got 3 sch, the Serial have diffrent pin like this (the Yellow sch from 3210EVM,the White sch from net)
my Design. set pin13 pin15 as txd and rxd is right?

need another ref pin set 5v ref valtage?y/n
or need external ap like lm358?(my system is 5V)
Show LessI have understood the theory of P.I.D controllers but having trouble to implement the same. I am confuse on integral and derivative part. As most pid controllers take input of I and D in seconds. What is exactly minute per repeat or repeats per minute of integral and derivative section. Can anybody explain . It will be of great help.
i have implemented the basic PID but this works good for motor control. But doesn't work great for heater or other applications
this is executed in while loop();
error_value=set_value-present_value;//calculating error //420ma pid
/*******************INTEGRAL**********************/
integral=integral+error_value;
/*************************************************/
/*******************END INTEGRAL******************/
/******************DERIVATIVE*********************/
derivative=error_value-pre_error;
pre_error=error_value;
pid_output= (kp*error_value) + (ki*integral) + (kd*derivative);
Show LessHi gurus,
I am finding trouble with psoc1 in connecting the external analog ground with the physical ground of psoc. how to do this? I tried many things but i am missing something and am confused. I have used psoc creator but psoc designer is somewhat confusing to me mostly the anlog section. Please help
I want to connect the analog sensor to pin 0_2 and pin 0_3 where p0_3 in positive and p0_2 is negative(ground) respectively. I just dont know or i am uncapable of routing the external ground this leads to erratic result of adcinc.
Show LessHi, I am trying to replicate the code posted on https://socmaker.com/?p=296 "Millisecond Timer the easy way", I am using the PSoC CY8CKIT-059 5LP Prototyping Kit, I feel there is something obvious missing, see my attachment, to my way of thinking, looks OK,
Kind Regards
