My major problem is I have input (of 7 Clock pulses) which needs to get through PSoC and correctly able to decode that 7 Clock Pulses and at the 7th rising edge of clock pulse it should let's say enable the counter (any simple counter)....could you help me with the design. Please send the cyprj file attached.

Hi,
My CY8CKIT050 main chip AXI LP035 main chip is heated up, and showing up this message while I'm trying to debug.
Please help me with this.

Show LessHello People,
I'm a new user of the PSoC platform and i have some questions about it. I have been working on a code that is able to send MIDI signals from 1 PSoC to another PSoC using bluetooth. ( Bluetooth is working fine no problems with that so far, i'm using hc-05 modules for who is wondering ). Anyway i have been trying to send MIDI signals over the UART of the psoc now the problem is that the UART can only send 1 byte a time while MIDI is a bit longer than 1 byte. Now i'm not quite sure on how to receive a signal correctly without losing data and on how to make the UART on the receiving side know that 1 MIDI signal ( which is 3 bytes ) has been received so it can get ready for the next MIDI signal. I have tried making a buffer on the receiving side to store the data in but it's not working as i wanted it to, so i would like some information or tricks on how to overcome this problem.
greetings me,
Hi,
I was doing the simple exercise of I2C in which through Bridge Control Panel I'm trying to change the values and update the output subsequently as stated in L-11 I2C Receieve (PSoC).....but I was having a problem which hex file I need to load into PSoC Programmer, currrently I have CY8CKIT059 DVK.....will it be supoorting the I2C or KitProg will support a lots of doubts are there.....please help me with the detailed answer and sample project attached with this chat file(cyprj).

The SAR data sheet defines three different sample rate limits, A_SAMP_1, 2, 3, could you confirm that using the single ended mode with VDAC as the reference , with external bypass capacitor is subject to A_SAMP_1, 1Msps?

We are using and HID USB interface to a PSoC5LP. We allow users to update FW from PC Software we wrote. We now have multiple versions of our products and are concerned they will write the wrong FW to a device. We need to be able to read the Metadata from the PSoC before we download FW to make sure it is the right product.
I am having trouble finding documentation on the Bootload protocol so we can add this command to our C# program.
Any ideas where to find it?
Show LessHello All,
I'm working with a team of students and we are developing a prototype using a PSoC 5LP. A question I have is, when applying power to the PSoC 5LP, is it required to to have separate supplies (We are using LDO's) for VDDA, and VDDD? Also, we are not planning on using an of the analog peripherals. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello
Just trying to get a simple setup to work.
Both have 9600 baud rate (76k/8) = approx 9600
The PSOC1 microprocessor that send data TX use port 1.3 to send data. I did measure a good signal with my oscilloscope, matching (if using pin 1.5 as TX) so they have the same output on oscilloscope.
I use putchar to send TX data and cgetchar on the other PSOC microprocessor to read data from RX.
I have connected TX to RX and vice versa.
So I am pretty sure I send correct data. When using cGetChar I just wait and wait for data to be received in RX, so the program stall because I apparently never receive anything acceptable.
If I use cReadChar it gives me back a zero as an error condition. So for some reason I dont receive what I am supposed to, or read it wrong.
I disabled interrupt´s on RX at the receiving end.
I start both unist with none parity.
Where do I do wrong?
Please if you refer to examples, then refer to an example that actually is an example of similar problem.
Thanks in advance
