There is an I2C bootloader App note to bootload PSoC3 from PSoC5(acting as host) . Can the same project be used to port to PSoC3- can one PSoC3 act as host to other?

And one more thing can I bootload PSoC5 from PSoC3. Currently I am unable to. Any solutions or suggestions?

Theoretically, it is possible to bootload a

1. a PSoC 3 by another PSoC 5 via any communication protocol

2. a PSoC 5 by another PSoC 3 via any communication protocol

3. a PSoC 3 by another PSoC 3 via any communication protocol

4. a PSoC 5 by another PSoC 5 via any communication protocol

5. a PSoC 3/5 by external host via any communication protocol

The bootloadable image can be from any of the following:

1. stored in the host controller

2. host controller might be getting data from some other host via any communication protocol and store that data on any external EEPROM or in the host itself.

But the problem with bootloading a PSoC 5 by another PSoC 3 device is the following - Flash size of PSoC 5 is more than PSoC 3. So you can't store the PSoC 5 image in PSoC 3 itself but has to be stored in some external EEPROM.
