 I'm student at electronic engineer school in Sweden.

   
    And I got pointed in the PSoC direction by my analogue electronics teacher, for a project were we are to do a set of lab's concerning the OP-AMP LM741.   
   
        
   
    these labs are comprised of :

  • Non-inverting Amplifier
  •      
  • Voltage-follower 
  •      
  • Inverting Amplifier
  •      
  •  Summing Amplifier
  •      
  •  Differential Amplifier

Welcome in the fascinating world of PSoCs

   

When working with PSoCs it is always advisable to use a Development Kit. Cypress offers the CY3210-PSoCEval1 Kit. have a look here: http://www.cypress.com/?id=2218&source=buy

   

All your listed circuitry can be realized with a PSoC1 preferrably a CY8C29466.

I Will get my teacher to order the eval1 and a cople of chip's for the class right away.

   

Btw you don't hapen to know a good tutorial or other source of information regarding the realization of my above mentioned circuits?

They are not necessarily on your specific circuits, general tool usage

   

and how to route and features.

   

 

   

Your circuits have an equivalent module in PSOC Designer (Software Tool).

   

Note the 3210 board can debug via LCD or UART to PC, or you use -

Each PSOC module has an associated datasheet that tells you how to

   

configure and setup. And the software APIs attached to that module.

When you download PSOC Designer, and start up there are a lot of example

   

projects on start page. To right you will see module selector for components

   

to add to a project. Below is a partial list. Note right clicking a module will allow

   

you to open its datasheet.

So those are the different modules you described in your previous post?

   

So from these exampels I will be able to construct the amp-curcuits.

   

By the way am, do I realy need de eval1 kit  to realize these curcuits or would for example: PSoC first toutch starter kit (CY3270) work as well? (or rather, is there a cheaper option ) for a intro level?

The 3270-Kit is under revision and (temporarily) not available.

   

Nonetheless I would always recommend the 3210-Kit since it is more robust and gives the opportunity to program PSoC chips and use them separately.

I concur with Bob,the CY3270 kit is cheaper, not by much, but a lot less capable overall.

   

 

   

Seems like there are still some CY3270 around in distribution -

 HI guys.

   

So I orderd the eval1 from cypress web-shop and also bougth the PSoC4 Pioner kit as well, for some fun.

   

But do the eval1's powersuply suport the walsockets in sweden?

The kit normally is powered thru the USB connected Miniprog programmer. There

   

is not a wall wart supplied, although there is a jack for one.

 Hi guys!

   

So I finaly got the Eval1 kit in the mail yester day. yay!

   

But I had a question regarding the schmitt-triger, in the document pointed out to me by Dana, it's drawn with resistor symbols.

   

does that mean that I will have to have resistors out side(on a bread-board) of the chip? since the other resistors sourounding the first op-amp have SC's acting as resistors?

Look into the .pdf of the app-note: The resistors are PSoC internal just as all parts drawn within the rectangle.

The Hysterisis value is set in global properties, units of voltage. Or

   

by the COMP_SetHyst API.
