I have a 3x9 touchpad which acts as an I2C slave. I'm looking to add a few registers to the slave memory to dynamically update software settings for the touch pad. So far I can change the finger and noise threshold using the API function CapSense_SetFingerThreshold(), CapSense_GetFingerThreshold, etc.
I would also like to change the API Resolution. This is the amount of coordinates that the touch pad returns in the x or y direction. For example, Column API Resolution is set to 100. Therefore the X touch pad coordinates can very from 0 to 100. I want to change this to best fit the need of the device.
My trouble is I haven't found any dedicated API for reading and changing this value. The only one that is close to that is CapSense_GetScanResolution(), but that seems to be a different setting. Can anyone point me to where this is stored or if its possible to dynamically change this during run time?
I am looking for a camera ttl jpeg library to use with this platform. Do you know if there is something out there? I found some cameras which work with a serial connection so you can send some commands to configure/get photos and communication is done by a serial port. but I don't know if this can be used as it is or if I need something "in the middle" to be used as interface to this kind of cameras.
This is one of the cameras I found : https://www.adafruit.com/product/1386 (This works at 5v but I found another one at 3.3v)
Show LessHello. I have a customer board using CYBLE-012011-00 chip. The progKit i used is a homemade 5 pin cable with CY8CKIT-043 KitProg. The debug 5-pin cable has a SWIO, SWCLK, RST, GND, VDD.
Issue right now is that when i connnect my board to the computer using CY8CKIT-043 KitProg. Psoc Creator 3.3 shows the following error messgae. Error: dbg. M0023: There was an error while programming the device: Connection with device lost udring programming. Verify the device is connected and try again. The program i tried to upload is just the BLE find_my_place+LED blink.(Lab 1) It actually works in the CY8CKIT-042-BLE kit using the default PRoc board.
We also have CY8CKIT-042-BLE kit in hand. Would it be possible to use the baseboard progamming my chip(CYBLE-012011-00). I also see there are same 5-pin pinout there.
Thank you in advance!
Show Lessin case of interrupt, i want to get ADC_SAR value. so after doing ADC_init,
I use while sentence. but nothing appeared.
am i incorrect or misunderstand something?? can i get some just ADC_SAR value example??
at first i make a simple example. so can you see and review something???\
Thank you
Show LessI'm attempting to add a bootloader to a touch pad project, so I can make tuning settings to when its in the case. I've added a new bootloader project to that workspace, made the original project bootloadable, and pointed the dependencies of bootloadable to my bootloader. When I try to build these projects together I am getting a series of errors.
1. prj.M0120:Build error: address 0x41b8 of .\CortexM0\ARM_GCC\484\Debug\CapTouch.elf section '.text' is not within region 'rom'
2. prj.M0120:Build error: .\CortexMo\ARM_GCC_484\Debug\CapTouch.elf section \.eh_frame' will not fit in region 'rom'
3.prj.M0120:Build error: section .cyloadablemeta loaded at [00003fc0,00003fff] overlaps section .text loaded at [00001580,000041b7].
4. prj.M0120: Build error: region 'rom' overflowed by 0 bytes.
Can anyone help?
Hello:
I've been using some of your development kits, and now I want to create a prototype by using the EZ-BLE PSoC CYBLE-014008-00. I would like to know if the PCB Layout and Schematics are available (PCB footprint, schematics, and similar). If so, is there a version compatible with kiCAD or EAGLE? (Any extension is fine, but preferably one of these two.)
I would really appreciate if you could send me any documents ready for my PCB application.
Thanks!
Diego
P.S. I know that in the datasheets you can find the guide for the pad connection interface, but if they are already available, that would save some time. Thanks!
Show LessHello,
I'm building a simple central BLE application, and I read the value of characteristic, with CyBle_GattcReadCharacteristicValue API, the returned value is trimmed to 22 byte length, but the original value (from peripheral) is 24 byte long.
The value sent by peripheral is correct because I can read it with Android App, and with CySmart.
Of course is a my mistake, but I can't find where.
Attached the project
Thanks again for help.
