Hello,
can me somebody help with uart - speed?
When I set up the speed of uart to 19200bd, all is ok.
When I set up the speed of uart to 115200, I have a problem with receiving the characters. When I send characters from PC, uart interrupt detects twice more character.
For example:
Send from PC: HELLO
Receive in processor: H, null,E,null,L,null,L, null, O, null. Between characters is received the character: 0 (dec). I use the interrupt:RX FIFO not empty.
But in 19200bd, processor does not receive the character 0(dec).
The uart actual speed is 115196bd (The CLK of processor is 48MHz).
I tried to change Oversampling, CLK of processor, Stop bits, but everything does not work.
Thank you for help:)

Show LessHi
I want to configure LM35 pin on the CY8CKIT-042-BLE.How to configure and make that work on the board?
Can i have any similar code working with the Analog pins on the BLE kit.

I have been using CYBL10161-56LQXI where currently I am working over the BLE v4.2.
I have a question about the data that we store in CYBLE_EVT_GATTC_HANDLE_VALUE_NTF.
What I know till now is about CyBle_GattsNotification() that it is a non-blocking function and what it does.
I have save the data to be sent to the client over, CYBLE_GATTS_HANDLE_VALUE_NTF_T my_variable; // my declaration
and in some function this is what I use,
my_variable.value.val = MyData;
my_variable.value.actualLen = length;
my_variable.value.len = length;
my_variable.attrHandle = charAttrHandle;
So, my question is, do we need the memory that we are using to set up the descriptor(my_variable) to exist after my call returns? As right now I am saving it on the stack, which means at some point I am going to lose it.

In single channel mode for the SAR_ADC, ( psoc 4m ), the max value appears to be 2047. This is a 11 bit value. It looks like the a/d is still acting like the a/d is running in differential mode, ie -2047 to 2047. Sometime the ground measurement returns -1, which seems to indicate that a differential mode measurement is returned.
Is there a way to have the A/D return 0 to 4095, which is a 12 bit a/d range.
Show LessHello,
My company was recently assigned a Bluetooth Company ID. How can I set that ID in the "Manufacturer Specific Data" in the advertisement packet if it does not show up in the pull down list in the component?
Also, is there a call to change the value of the manufacturer specific data?
Maybe there is a way to alter the entire advertisement packet (31 bytes)?
Thanks.

Show LessHi all,
similar to the problem mentioned here (http://www.cypress.com/forum/psoc-4-architecture/cy8ckit-043-4m-series-more-8-analog-pins)
is mine...
I need about 13 analog inputs (11 single sides , one differntial), see attached project.
I build an application using the seq SAR_ADC an an AMuxHW. The project compiles without an error. The software is running.
On the terminal I can read the values, but they behave strange and are not meaningful.
All values via the mux are nearly the same and seem to depend on the voltage of P2.6/P2.7 (diff input).
I tried several combinations, like only one input of the SAR-ADC, but it seems to me that the AMuxHW is not working proberbly.
I even added an analog output (TAnalog). By switching the inputs, I expected a change on that signal - nothing..
Anyone, any ideas 😉
Is there a restriction of the analog system, using the SAR-ADC and more than 8 inputs ???
Greetings (from germany)

Show LessHi i just got home a ble module (CYBLE-012012-10)
I didn´t read the sheets så well before i order it. But my question: It is possible to talk to the ble unit thru uart? I would like to just send some at-commands to get started.
Show LessIn the project,I use BLE Component on CY8C4247LQI-BL483 and the board runs in deepsleep mode that refer to the application note(AN92584 Designing for Low Power and Estimating Battery Life for BLE Applications),when BLE is not advertising ,the current of the board(4247LQI-BL483) is 2uA(enter into deepsleep mode,advertisement interval is configured to 3s).
but when added SPI(slave mode) commponent and there is no SPI communication on the bus,the current of the board is increased to 300uA.
In the project code :
(1) initializatin:call SPIS_Start()
(2) before and after calling CySysPmDeepSleep():call function SPIS_Sleep() and SPIS_Wakeup()
so,what do i need to do to reduce the current when run the SPI slave communication?
Thanks.

I did the dumb thing of testing my code on BLE PSOC and then trying to shoehorn it into a BLE PROC chip. Not really working well.
If anyone has any examples of the Following.
Need Timer for 30+ days accurate to the minute
A. Systick ?
B. Hardware Counter. (TCPWM) ?
Need to write data to EEprom (SFLASH)
A. I was going to Easy EPROM problem is I can't get it to work on the BLE PROC.
I really need a chart with all the components available for each module. Makes using the code across modules problematic.
