PSoC™ 4 Forum Discussions
Hi All,
I've gone through the forums, youtube videos, and the 100 days of PSOC samples to figure this out, and am stuck. I can't get the "command complete" event to send from my peripheral back to central, and don't know why. I handle CYBLE_EVT_GATTS_WRITE_REQ, update the GATT DB, and call CyBle_GattsWriteRsp -- but the command complete event never gets sent. I've tried variations in the order, changing the gatt parameters, adding in additional calls to CyBle_ProcessEvents, or even putting in random delays -- yet it never works. I attached a debugger to the Cypress sample code, and literally looked at each call linearly, and made the same calls on my own -- yet the response is still not sent.
Here's the code link to an example program I made up to show what I expect to work:
Line 100 is where I handle the Write Request. Any ideas on why this doesn't send back the response I expect would be welcome. The repo should clone and build on the BLE Pioneer kit.
Thanks!
Show LessHello to all,
I can not measure the temperature of the cip with the DIE_TEMP in PSoC4200 Analog Coprocessor CY8C4A45PVI-481'.
The converter returns the value 440 @ 27 ° C, but "Temp = DieTemp_1_CountsTo_Celsius (adcTemp);" does not return the value in Celsius.
Do you have any dedicated examples?
Thank you

Hi All,
I am using a Long Deep Sleep program for PSoC 4 BLE using this link's program: PSoC 4200M WDT Long Deep Sleep .
I am wondering how to make the program stop after 5 blinks from the LED. For the for(;;) loop, I tried using: for (count=1; count<=N1; count++), but this did not work.
Does anyone know how to accomplish this?
Thanks,
Andrew Collins
Show LessHi!
I'm developing a project with PSoC-4 and will be interesting to me acquire pre-programmed PSoC-4 parts by Cypress. This is possible?
best regards,

Show LessHello,
I am using C# api's along with CySmart 4.2 BLE dongle. I am able to Pair Our BLE Sensor using Pair api as follows:
CyApiErr err1 = m_peerDevice.Pair(new CyPairSettings(CySecurityLevel.AUTHENTICATED_PAIRING_WITH_ENCRYPTION, true, 16, CyPairingProperties.USE_KEYPRESS_NOTIFICATION));
this things are working fine in windows 7 but the same settings are giving error BLE_ERROR_GATT_INSUFFICIENT_ENCRYPTION on Windows 10.
Again in CySmart desktop application (comes with cypress dongle driver) it is working fine on both Windows 7 & 10.
This is strange but its true. Is there any restriction on windows 10 which blocking something.
Please provide some help.
Show LessHello.
I was wondering whether S parameter models (.s1p, .s2p files) of the CY8C4248LQI-BL583 are available?
I would like to characterize the chip's performance for linearity, and Noise figure performance.
Has anyone performed such an analysis?
What is the chip's Signal to Noise Ratio, IIP3, IP1dB values, at nominal VDDR (1.9V)?
Kind regards,
Andrew Mugisha
Show LessI am looking into fine-tuning my power consumption. I have 7 Pins set up as digital outputs, and 2 set for Digital inputs in my project. An engineer I work with mentioned that there might be current leakage with the pins. I have no idea about this stuff, so I came here!
Is there current leakage with the pins? If so, about how much, and how can I prevent the leakage? I understand that this would only save me a few nano amps, but I'm running a battery operated build, so anything I can save is worth the time.
I have listed all of my pin configurations below. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to save current. Thanks!!

Show LessHi everyone,
I am trying to establish serial communication between two CY8CKIT-042 PSoC 4 Pioneer Kit devices. Can anyone please post the entire work space or project if anyone has done this please. I am also using radiometrix NTX0 and NRX0 transmitter and receiver RF modules in the kit, so it has to serially communicate only when transmitter sends the data.
Can anyone please share the workspace or project for serial communication between TWO PSoC CY8CKIT-042 devices please
