PSoC™ 4 Forum Discussions
Hi Sir,
I have a PCBA, with STM32 to control the cyble BLE, but it is curious, the BLE is not detected.
I checked the 3.3v it there, and the XRES directly to the STM32.
Could you give me some clue, usually how the BLE be detected ?
Thanks.
Show LessHi, my PSoC Creator 4.2 doesn't recognise my device, I'm using a CY8C4248 LQI-BL583, the same as the development board CY8CKIT-142. The circuit is the same as the kit board CY8CKIT-143A, drawing 630-60247-01, which programmes fine, but when I try to program my board it doesn't recognise it. I've tried using the PSoC 3 Creator, but again my board isn't recognised....it tells me its a Cortex M0, but nothing else. Any ideas or suggestions would be gratefully received.
Show LessHello,
I inquired about the SWD pin in the following community.
https://community.cypress.com/message/164808#164808
This is another inquiry about SWD pin processing.
Q1.
Is it OK to keep the SWD pin open?
Q2.
Does the SWD pin have an internal pull-up like the XRES pin?
Best regards,
Harukawa
Show LessHi Community,
I finaly ordered a CY8CKIT-042-BLE-A in order to create a mini-quadcopter hoping it won’t take me more than a week (am I too optimistic?)...
In the begining, I've tried using a CY8CKIT-050, but, I didn't even get to wake-up a brushless motor. So it finaly decided me it could be better to afford a CY8CKIT-042-BLE!
Can someone please give me any kind of advices to help me realise that project ? I've never created a quadcopter before even though I'm an electrical engineer (you do have to start, someday... So please don't be cruel...), but it seems to me that I need to have some given cypress' libraries to wake up the brushless motors... Unless they have to be programmed in C language. If that's the case, can I please have a few leads for this codings ? I couldn't find any kind of information for waking up the motors, so I really am in a great need of help... Or can you put me in touch with other engineers familiar with UAV technology who can inspire me towards a good idea? I am aware that creating a drone is not an easy task, but it is not that which will discourage me...
Hoping to read you soon,
Sincerely,
Moumouni
Show LessI am programming the external programmer with CY8C4248lqi.
How to write BD_ADDR(6byte) to CY8C4248lqi with external programmer ?
I know that the Bluetooth block need this address for all individual device.
Someone comment me.
Thanks
Justin
Show LessI want to know how to configure PSOC 4000S to support Boot loading function using SPI.
I checked the SCB block and it can support such function but only I2C.
I want to use a SPI flash to automatically download the code instead of through MCU.
Is there any good way to do it?
Show LessHi All,
I am using CY8CKIT-042.
Using PSoC Programmer I am erasing the entire flash.
But, when I read back the flash content using PSoC Programmer, it displays all the flash content as zero's.
Isn't it that when we erase the Flash it suppose to change all the device content to 1's?
Regards,
Sudheer
Show LessI can claim absolutely no expertise in Bluetooth, but here I am, trying to write an application. Basically grabbing data from a peripheral and passing the buffer to the BLE block, but I randomly, but seemingly more often than not, find the program crashing somewhere after calling CyBle_ProcessEvents(). That the BLE block is a black box, how does one go about figuring out what code is not in place or not working correctly?
Here is a picture of the stack trace - and why is CySysFlashClockConfig() apparently at address zero (or is this a red herring?)?
Are there some generic guidelines between which I can stay out of trouble?
Thanks so much,
John
Hi there,
I am trying to establish a connection between my PSOC and a BlueRadios Sensor -Sensorbug-.
After establishing the connection the next thing would be to read out the light data which the sensor measures.
I am trained in C and learned - learning it in school and so I thought I could do this without a problem.
But I realized pretty soon that I was wrong especially the API's for the BLE Kit are driving me crazy.
So I tried to establish the connection with my code, which I is posted down here, but it won't connect.
And I am coming to a point where I don't know what to do anymore, I am stuck and would need some help.
My code always stops at the same position.
It always tries to match the given MSD with the one he reads. But they don't match and I don't know why. Espescially because I don't know what that data is for and what exactly to give in. I tried to read it out of the datasheet but there is some data called MSD but not company specific data and manufactuerer specific data.
Thanks
Chris
