Hi
I use the CYBLE-224110-00 chip. We have the problem the customer if the update goes wrong (power supply error ..) often send the parts to reperatur. To fix it faster we just want to program over it whit the psoc Creator. Until now we help us while wie programm a SW only wiht CySysSFlashWriteUserRow(1,&userFlashdata1[0]) and after that we programm once again the real SW or we update the chip again(but this needs 6min). I hope ther is an other way.
best regards,
H. Kaffka

Show LessHello Dear,
in a project done with CY8C4125AZI-S413, I replaced with CY8C4025AZI-S413, communicated by Cypress as an interchangeable cpu. I have make a build of the project, but it gives me an error that comes from the CYDWR file, for the SCB_i2c_SDA, SCB_i2c_SCL, TCPWM.line, as cannor reached from this pin pins. why does this happen to me?
Thanks Henry
Show LessHello all,
I have tested the solar CYALKIT-E02 module as sensor after charging the super capacitor for few minutes through usb and it shows regular BLE activity.
However when changing firmware to the Eddystone from the 100 day examples (50), even after charging for half hour, either scanning with the Locate app or the CySmart dongle, nothing is detected. If I plug the solar module into the debug board for charging, then it will be detected broadcasting URL and TLM packets. I measured about 2.88v at the super capacitor.

Show LessHello,
I find contradiction of "Time of Save command takes to execute" for MBR3 document.
1. MBR3 datashet
URL:https://www.cypress.com/file/46236/download
A sentence "Note 20. Save command takes 220 ms to execute." on p.27 of this datasheet.
Also, "The time taken to complete the SAVE_CHECK_CRC command is 220 ms typ." on p.32 of this datasheet.
2. CY8CMBR3xxx Device Programming Specifications
URL:https://www.cypress.com/file/133376/download
A sentence "//wait until flash update is complete, max 220 ms" on p.25 of this document.
<Question>
Which is correct for "save command takes 220 ms to execute", typ or max?
Best Regards.
P.S.
I write the same content in Japanese.

MBR3についてコマンドの保存にかかる時間は220msと記載されていますが、
この時間はTypかMaxのどちらが正しいでしょうか?
上記に記載しました通り、ドキュメントによって表記が異なっています。
Show LessHello,
We are using Cypress BLE and testing the BLE part on CySmart App.
Currently the issue being faced is that on some Android versions after opening the App it shows 'No Services Found' but it works properly on some devices.
The issue really is that it was earlier working on currently not working devices (Android mobile).
And haven't really changed anything in BLE block wrt to working and not working states in code. Have tried using different modules.
What could be the issue.
Thank You,
Ameya
Show LessTrying to understand how to deal with these, is it possible to display or print the contents of the RPA list, the Bonded devices list or the whitelist in PSoC Creator?
thanks for your help,
Dennis
Show LessI have a PSoC4 BLE acting as a peripheral server to an iPad client central device. I want to bond the two devices and permit only one iPad to connect to the peripheral.
The file BLE_1_StackGap.h contains the following #defines:
/* Maximum number of Remote Devices */
#define CYBLE_GAP_MAX_BONDED_DEVICE 0x04u
#define CYBLE_GAP_SIZE_OF_WHITELIST 0x08u
#define CYBLE_GAP_SIZE_OF_RESOLVING_LIST 0x08u
/* This is kept for backward compatibility, will be obsolete in future */
#define CYBLE_MAX_WHITELIST_ENTRIES 0x04u
My questions:
1. Is what I have described in the first paragraph workable?
2. In order to accomplish what I want is it sufficient to change
#define CYBLE_GAP_MAX_BONDED_DEVICE to 0x01u,
#define CYBLE_MAX_WHITELIST_ENTRIES to 0x01u and
#define CYBLE_GAP_SIZE_OF_WHITELIST to 0x02u?
3. Is there anything else that must be done, or am I barking up the wrong tree entirely?
Thanks for any help you can offer.

Show LessHello all, I am using a 11 nema stepper motor and I am trying to drive it using the DRV8834. I have never used a stepper motor in any project. can any one help me by writing an initial code to the motor to go one step to the right direction and one step to the left direction. the motor I am using is SY28STH32-0674A. I need these information to understand how stepper motors work. Thank you all
