PSoC™ 4 Forum Discussions
Hi.
After bonding procedure with my device as peripheral, I set
cyBle_discoveryParam.advFilterPolicy = CYBLE_GAPP_SCAN_ANY_CONN_WHITELIST
or CYBLE_GAPP_SCAN_CONN_WHITELIST_ONLY
and after disconnect, my smartphone (android or apple) did not connect to device but find them.
If I set
cyBle_discoveryParam.advFilterPolicy = CYBLE_GAPP_SCAN_ANY_CONN_ANY
connection occurs normally.
Please tell me where to look for the cause.
Thanks.
Show LessHello,
is there any way I can flash my own ELF file on a PSoC4 (CY8CKIT-149)??
I have wrote my own Startup-Code and HW initialization and would like to run it on the PSoC. Unfortunately I do not find any possibility to flash the PSoC using PSoC Creater.

Show LessI am using a PSOC 4200.
I need to sample a single free running timer clocked at 1 megahertz from multiple digital input triggers.
PSOC does not seem to easily support multiple input capture signals on a single timer, so my solution is to create multiple timers running synchronously.
The attached graphic illustrates my proposed solution to this problem.
If I configure the timer counters without the start input, I am able to start them with calls like InputCapture_DG1_1_Timer_Start().
However, it takes 70 microseconds for the four InputCapture_NN_Timer_Start() routines to run, so they are not well synchronized.
That is why I added the start inputs to the TCPWM timers and connected them to the CaptureTimer_ReloadReg control register.
I have attempted to start the timers by calling CaptureTimer_ReloadReg_Write(0) and then CaptureTimer_ReloadReg_Write(1), when the start input is configured to
respond to rising edge signals, but the timers do not start. I am calling InputCapture_DG1_1_Timer_Start() prior to strobing CaptureTimer_ReloadReg so that InputCapture_DG1_1_Timer_Init() has been called prior to the strobe.
Does anyone have an idea why this is not working?
Any alternative suggestions?

Hello everyone,
I would need to use this kind of sensing for an automotive application.
As far as I know no-one of the Part Numbers of the 4700 family is qualified.
My guess is: is it possible to port the IndSense Engine on a qualified Part Number?
Thank you very much in advance
Best regards
GianLuca
Show LessHi Sir ,
What's the watchdog time range coud be set in Psoc 4?That is not written in datasheet or TRM . There must be official official description somewhere.
Thanks.
Show LessHi All,
I'm using PSOC4 prototype kit.
When i check the resistance values between two analog pins. 300 Ohm is coming, any reason? ideal value should be zero or less than 10 Ohm right?
if i want to get zero Ohm what i need to do? or any other products from cypress?
Thanks,

Show LessHello,
I have two questions.
1. I know that the SCLK and data rate of SPI master can set 8Mbps in case of 48MHz HFCLK.
No matter how the conditions are changed the acutual data rate is less than 4785kbps in SPI slave.
Does it mean that the acutual data rate can not set over 4785kbps in SPI slave?
2. Is the maximum SCLK of SPI master 8Mbps in +1.8V power and 48MHz HFCLK?
Best regards,
Yocchi
Show LessHello All,
I'm working with capsense buttons example code provided with CY8CKIT - 046 KIT.
I'm trying to integrate UART in interrupt mode, and it's not working. It seems system goes in sleep mode and hence it's not working.
Can someone please shed some light, what's going on?
Show LessHi experts.
I am building water level sensor using CY8C4014+PsoC Creator4.2+CapSense CSD 2.60.
Now I am using CapSense_GetSensorCp() API but it reports capacitance of electrode in pF
order. I need much higher resolution like in fF or 10fF order.
I tried CapSense_ReadSensorRaw() API but raw count is initialized to different value
every time power is turned on even capacitance of the electrode (i.e. water level) is
maintained. (Once raw count is initialized to a certain value, change of raw count value
is proportional to a change of capacitance of the electrode. )
Is there any way to get capacitance of electrodes in higher resolution (in fF or 10fF order)?
Thanks in advance.
