PSoC™ 4 Forum Discussions
Hello,
I had written a code which used BLE, emEEPROM and ADC blocks.
The code works fine on CYBL-11573-56LQXI and CYBL022001 PSoC 4 BLE modules. The device is discoverable on CySmart app and functionality also works.
The exact same code on CYBLE 012011 BLE module does not work. The device is not discoverable on CySmart app.
What could be the issue.
Thanks,
Ameya

If IMO frequency is changed dynamically,
does it affect the clock used for Timer or PWM?

Hi everyone,
I'm trying to find a way to make two BLE modules communicate under password. I would like them to check a password, unique for both of them, defined in both modules and then connect if the check was successful. I read "Day016_Authentication" but I am confused because a new pw is always generated and in any case there is always a need for a screen and keyboard, which is not available to me.
Can someone help me?
Thank you
Show LessHello,
I am using CYBLE-012011-00 modules which sends and receives some values over BLE from App.
So while testing with some devices (testing on CySmart app), on some devices it gets disconnected abruptly/services are not discoverable.
On some devices it works fine and does not get disconnected and services are also discovered.
While debugging it was found that on devices on which it disconnects abruptly and unhandled event is called : CYBLE_EVT_GAP_CONNECTION_UPDATE_COMPLETE
And the disconnection error is : CYBLE_HCI_INSTANT_PASSED_ERROR
On devices it works fine, the above two events/error are not generated.
Thanks,
Ameya

Show LessI have a 6.144 MHz clock, but when I wire it to a digital output pin PSOC Creator gives me a invalid connection error. Why and how do I fix this issue.
Show LessHello All,
Quick question that I am pretty certain I know the answer but I don't see it spelled out clearly in the RTC_P4_v1_20.pdf document.
When in 24 hour clock mode does the AM_PM flag get set when the time is between 12:00 & 23:59:59?
I am pretty certain the answer is "no" but I also don't see it clearly defined in the datasheet. So I thought I would check with the community.
Thanks,
Dave
Show LessI have some firmware in a PSoC4 that runs and communicates to the I2C bus. I would like to be able to load "drivers" for various I2C devices into the unit at run time. I do not want to have to maintain N versions of the whole firmware for N sensors as this would be unmanageable. I need to only load the portion that actually interacts with the sensor.
What I had hoped was that I could compile and manage the drivers separately and load them at run time depending on which sensor was plugged in. (I already have a method for detecting which sensor is plugged in - hot swap).
I put up a question for this before, but it seems that I was not clear enough on what I was trying to do as it got marked answered and was locked before I was able to respond to a question.
Show LessI am trying to read an Eagle file from CY8CKIT-043 PCB information provided by Cypress into Eagle and i get errors. Can anyone tell me why? I also tried to read them into CircuitStudio and i also get errors.
I basically in the end i want to read the Eagle PCB into CircuitStudio if possible. Anyone had any experience with this?
