I confirmed "PSoC4_Power_Estimator" at the above URL, but there seems to be no PSoC4100SPlus.
Will it be added in the future?

Show LessOur current project targets the CYBLE-214009-00 device. This device is going end of life. So we're migrating to the drop-in replacement CYBLE-214015-01.
Going forward we will need to maintain two build options one for each device type.
In the firmware, I would like to be able to report the device type. As such we can annotate this information in error logs and also use the device type to load the correct hex file when performing a firmware update. I can make #define statements to identify the device etc. How do I programmatically determine whether my device is the CYBLE-214009-00 or the CYBLE-214015-01? Is there a #define that I can use, or a System API that I can use. Using PsoC Creator 4.2.
Show LessHi all,
I am new to Cypress PSoC 4 BLE device. I wanted to know whether we can use BLE to transfer data with android phone if we use fixedstack OTA bootload in our application because in the description of creating fixedstack bootload for PWMExample guide the final topdesign didn't contain the BLE component. So I got confused in that. Please someone help me on this. I hope getting a reply ASAP.

Show LessHi,
As I recently got CY8CKIT-149 and I noticed that there is an EZ-BLE on the board, I wanted to try BLE tutorial.
So I ported the "Find Me" project from the 101 Video to the EZ-BLE (CYBLE-022001-00) on the CY8CKIT-149.
With the SW4 in EZ-BLE position, I could download and run the program without problem and my iPhone could find the device and control the alert level.
And the LED changed the brightness depending on the compare value of the PWM.
So far so good.
Then I tried to run it without debugger, but this time although Wireless part seems to be working the LED, which is supposed to be off when the program starts, keep turning on. I think that this means the pin is stuck at GND. Even with this condition I could find the device from my iPhone and when I change the alert level it reports "Written xxxx Alert Successfully", but there is no change in the way LED lights.
I tried to build the program in Release mode, supply only power from the board's VDD and GND pin, but in vain.
So could someone teach me what I am missing or am doing wrong to use EZ-BLE on CY8CKIT-149 without debugger?
Following the design information and attached is my project archive.

Show LessHello
I understood previous SLED "About CY8CMBR3108-LQXI device support with Miniprog4"
When I tried to connect EZclick and miniprog to setup MBR3 Device. It can not connect to Miniprog4.
It can not see Miniprog4 port on "Select I2C Target" window.
But It can connect to Miniprog3.
Do you have any advice(Miniprog4 setting .... ) ?
Show LessDespite having just designed this part in last year, we are being forced to use the new part per: https://www.cypress.com/documentation/product-termination-notice-ptn/ptn191207
This seems to have been done without much consideration for the costs involved to the customer. What does Drop-In really mean?
There seem to be 2 salient issues that are costly to remedy:
1. The BLE QDID has changed. So do we need to buy another $8000 BLE listing?
2. The software is seemingly incompatible per PSoC 4 BLE – Migrating from 256 KB V1 (Bluetooth 4.1) to 256 KB V2 (Bluetooth 4.2) Devices – KBA226906 . Our mobile app OTA is based on CySmart, but we did not design in a way to support multiple device and file types. Can the new device load the old module's code as is, or do we need to supply 2 versions of code and differentiate them, then support that in the app?
