Hi ,
I can only print data using UART_UartPutString() function,but i can not use printf() function to print data,no error,but print nothing.
Is something i did not do?
#include "stdio.h"
heap is set as 0x200
UART_UartPutString( "Hello World!\r\n" );
printf("HI World!\r\n");
Thanks,
Leo
Show LessI am looking for an example of passing a variable from the Bootloader component to the Bootloadable application on a PSoC 4200M. Even a single 16-bit value is sufficient.
Basically, I need a piece of uninitialized RAM shared between the two pieces of code.
Thanks,
Bill
Show Lesshi CYPRESS:
在用PSOC4000S系列的时候,可以从右边拉出ADC的组件,但是没有编译通过, 看起来IDE非常不友好,编译显示sensor of size is 1, 根本就不知道是什么意思;
通过查阅资料才知道PSOC4000S 是没有带ADC的, 这种的操作让人很费劲,为什么不是如果这个系列中没有这资源,右边的是组件是不能拖到左边呢?????

hi Cypress:
when we use CY8C4025 part , we meet the hard issue to solve it;
Description: the normally voltage is 5V in VDD, when we turn off the power supply, the voltage still in 1.7V. when we power on the source slowly and
the voltage step to 5V slowly , the MCU does not work or touch key induction is abnormal. it means mcu not rest , we check in datesheet , 4025 1.7V
is in critical state, it need use BOD to to slove it , but we can;t find example in PSOC4000S, just find in PSOC4200 example, and PSOC4000S not
define it , please help on it, tks;
Question: 1. When the voltage rises slowly, 1V changes to 5V. Why can't the chip reset?
Show LessI'm looking at the datasheet for this part, Document Number: 002-23053 Revised Feb 22, 2018.
The BGA footprint on page 42 shows pins H8, J8, J5 and J4 removed.
The Pin List for WLCSP (BGA) is shown in Table 2 on Page 12.
B1 is shown as NB (No Ball)
H8 is shown as ANT
J4 is shown as VDDR
J8 is shown as NO CONNECT (Not NB or No Ball like B1)
J6 has no pin description
Looking at PSOC Creator Pins definition for this part:
B1 is shown as P2[3]
J7 is shows as NC
J4, J5, J8 and J9 pins are removed
Which information is correct?
What does the datasheet mean by No Connect (NC). Does this mean the pin is not connected to circuitry inside the package, or does it mean the designer should not connect any circuitry to this pin?

John
Show LessHello,
I have developed an app for iOS and Android to use BLE.
If I use iOS app there is no problem, I get all the services and I can read and write all the characteristics.
The problems begin when I use the Android app because I can´t get all the services.
I tried to get the services with CySmart app and this problem also happen.
Any ideas why this happens?
Thanks,
Héctor
Show LessHello,
Can the I2C slave component of PSoC4000S stretch SCL?
If it can not stretch SCL, is it possible to make stretch circuit with SmartIO and output pins?
Best regards,

Show LessHi All,
I wanted to transmit DHT11 humidity and temperature data to an Android or iOS device. In order to do this, I connected a DHT11 Humidity & Temperature sensor to a PSoC 4 BLE pioneer kit and used a PSoC 4 BLE program for a heart rate sensor that transmits data from the UART serial terminal to an iPhone. (Link: PSoC-4-BLE/100_Projects_in_100_Days/Day002_Heart_Rate_Sensor at master · cypresssemiconductorco/PSoC-4-BLE · GitHub ) This program would show the data on the Cysmart App, and I tweaked this to make it show the temperature instead of the heart rate. However, this program uses a service that already defines the pictures and layout of the Cysmart App, so when I inputted the temperature, only the number changed but the rest of the layout of the app stayed the same.
Can someone point me to an example program that sends the temperature from the PSoC device to the iPhone, and shows the data transmitted in a different app instead of the Cysmart app?
Thanks,
Andrew Collins
