PSoC™ 4 Forum Discussions
Hello,
When can we expect PSoC 4 support in ModusToolbox? I miss a lot of features in PSoC Creator and I have already heard promises on trade shows two years ago. Is there a target date? I am considering migrating existing code and new development on other MCUs.
Thank you,
David
Show LessHello everyone,
I created a program in PSOC 4 BLE, but the opamp_1's analog port P2[2] and ADC's analog port P3[4] have a voltage of 3 V and i don't know why, someone can help to get solution about it? Just send the program for your PSOC 4 and test with a multimeter the ports P2[2] and P3[4] that you can see the voltage, don't need to create the circuit.
Follows the attachment of my program:
Show LessHi,
In my design, on a CYBLE-214015-1, I want to generate a stable PWM signal using the TCPWM component. However, when I measure the output of the signal with an oscilloscpe, there are a lot of unaccounted transitions on the PWM line signal. In my hardware design this pin is routed only to a test pin pad with no connections at all. What causes this issue? In attachment the simple design reproducing this phenomenon.
Thanls for the feedback,
Kris
Show LessI'm using a CYBLE-212023-10 module, with the "EZ-Serial BLE Firmware Platform", and I'd like to use directed advertising.
I can see how to enable directed advertising using command 4/8, "gap_start_adv", but how do I specify the address I'd like to advertise to?
Show LessHi,
By following Lessons 1-7 of these tutorials (https://www.cypress.com/training/how-make-ios-app-control-robot-using-bluetooth-low-energy-ble), I made a PSoC 4 BLE program that turns on/off an LED light by a switch on an iOS device. (GitHub - cypresssemiconductorco/bleapp).
However, instead of just using a switch to control when the LED turns on/off, I want to control the number of times the LED blinks. To do this, I plan on entering a number on the iOS device, and this number will be transmitted to the PSoC device and would dictate how many times the LED blinks.
Does anyone know how to do this?
Thanks,
Andrew
Show LessI'm using CY8C4247FNI-BL483T and there is VSSR (Radio Ground)
And I'm not sure VSSR should be connected to ground like VSSA or just connect ground
Show LessHello,
I have two questions about PWM component for one shot pulse on GPIO.
Can I resolve problems below.
1. I would like to generate one shot pulse output on GPIO with PSoC4000S.
but, we won't get it with PWM component.
2. And I need to change both period and compare settings immediately.
but, we must wait TC once after changing both period and compare settings of PWM.
Best regards,
Yocchi
Show LessHello,
Please tell me the behavior state of GPIO pin during POR of PSoC4000S.
if the VDD passes over "Power On Reset" voltage, the state of GPIO pin follows GPIO configuration.
if the VDD is under "Power On Reset" voltage, how is the state of GPIO pin?
I think that it is "Analog input" and Hi-Z. Is this correct?
Best regards,
Yocchi
Show LessWhen I power up the device, the touch keys are always triggered although my figure don't press the key.
The picture is as follow.
We can see from the picture, The baseline is always less than the raw count although I don't touch the button.
Show LessI want to use a custom BLE service to move a servo to two positions. Call them open and closed. I'm thinking a variable for the compare value that my app writes into the Gatt.
