Hi, support colleagues:
I found this programming specification, file:///D:/Cypress-CY8C4248BZI/002-22325_CY8C4xxx_CYBLxxxx_Programming_Specifications.pdf. , which is good to guide develop a flash driver.
Here, I would like to ask you, do we already have this kind of driver?
Thanks,
chandler
Show LessHi
I have a simple project with a pwm timer driving direct a GPIO out pin.
I have a motor driver on this pin.
My problem is when the chip power up the pin state is low, which means that the motor driver is at max speed. The max out put is there until i initilze the PWM timer.
How can i set the pins so they allways start up in tristate until at initialize them ?

Show LessHello,
Hope you are doing well.
Actually i tried writing on SRAM of PSOC -4 BLE CYBL10162-56LQXI using the program provided by cypress (link- https://github.com/cypresssemiconductorco/PSoC-4-BLE/blob/master/100_Projects_in_100_Days/Day029_BLE_SFlash_Write/User%20SFlash%20Write.pdf.)
The program is getting loaded successfully on the device but when updating the SFLASH_STARTING_VALUE with different value for example (0xFF) instead of (0x00) its not getting updated.
Please refer to the screenshot below displaying only 00 even though we updated the value to (0xFF) in SFLASH_STARTING_VALUE instead of (0x00) in WriteUserSFlash.h header file.
Can anyone please help me in this as i need to write in SRAM of the PSOC-4 BLE CYBL10162-56LQXI device.
Thanks & Regards,
Kavan

Show LessHello,
I have to develop a device that includes a 80x80mm touchpad area. I am not an expert in that domain and in Cypress environment. So I have 3 questions about this topic :
1- What is the most appropriate PSOC reference?
2- Are there libraries, or existing software to implement? I have tried to understand, with Psoc Designer, how the capsense is configured, without success.
3 - Are there reference pcb designs of the touchpads?
Thanks a lot for help
Show LessDear Sirs and Madams,
I asked a question before, but the problem has not been solved yet.
Regarding the UART component of PSoC4S,
When PSoC4S is set to no parity, if data with parity is transmitted continuously, the data cannot be received normally frequently, resulting in a mismatch between the transmitted data and the received data.
So, I would like to ask you another question.
(1)
/* PSoC4 UART settings */
Mode : Standard
RX+TX
19200bps (Actual 19231bps)
8bit data length
Parity non
Stopbit 1
Oversampling 12
/*************************************/
If parity (odd / even) data is received with the above settings, Do you know how PSoC4 behaves when it receives parity (odd / even) data with the above settings?
In our system, PSoC4S may have problems not only "no parity error" but also "data cannot be received correctly".
The fact that PSoC4S cannot receive correctly means that the values of the transmitted data and the received data may differ.
(2)
I've heard that if PSoC4S is set to no parity, a parity error cannot be detected even if data with parity is received.
We thought that even if we received data with parity when no parity was set, we could receive the data normally. Can you understand the reason why the data cannot be received normally with PSoC4S?
(3)
Previously, I got the following answer.
Is it possible to provide a concrete application example?
/***********************************************************************************************************/
> When parity bit is not enabled, then the RX parity error check cannot be accessed/used. However, you may manually calculate the parity (even or odd) by reading the data present in the RX buffer in your application.
/***********************************************************************************************************/

Show LessWe need to measure the level of a water-based cleaning solution in a consumable HDPE bottle, of wall thickness ~1mm. The consumable bottle will be docked into another plastic receptacle, either Polypropylene or HDPE or approximately 2mm thick.
We want to mount a segmented sensor to the outside of the receptacle, and measure the liquid level inside the consumable.
The wall of the consumable and the wall of the receptacle should be in contact with each other, but a small air gap is possible (<1mm)
We need to know if this is feasible, given the correct sensor design? We would be looking for a level resolution of 100%, 75%, 50%, 25% and empty.
Thanks.
Show LessDear Sirs and Madams,
We are considering CapSense for PSoC 4S, and we can see fluctuations in the RAW count of PSoC 4S.
The component data sheet of PSoC5LP describes the characteristics of "voltage vs RAW count" and "temperature vs RAW count".
<Excerpt from PSoC5LP CapSense datasheet P.101>
Is it possible to disclose similar characteristics for the CapSense component of PSoC4S?

Show LessHello,
I am testing the PSoc 4100S Pioneer kit that has KitProg3, I see the programmer, but not the MCU with PSOC Creator:
The strange thing is that I can read and write with PSOC Programmer:
Do you know the issue ?
Best regards
