Hi,

Our power supply is not very stiff, during BLE operations we see a drop in the supply.  For example, when advertising, we see drops of ~200mV, associated with each advertising event.  The supply is kept at ~2.4V.

Will these drops affect the quality of the BLE signals?

Thank you

Get a better supply. You can never have too good of a power supply.  The Supply should never drop more than a few mV.

Let's assume that we are stuck with the supply we have.  I would like to know what supply voltage fluctuations have on the Bluetooth signal quality.

As this is a digital device and you have 200 mV drop on a 2.4 Volt supply that can have negative affects on your digital signals.  Why can't you get a voltage regulator to help improve the supply ripple?

We power from harvested energy and right now we are not able to regulate the supply.

I have not experienced any performance issues but as we head into certification....
