Non Volatile RAM (F-RAM & NVSRAM) Forum Discussions
Please let me know the longevity of CY14B108N. Is It available for next 20 years, or let us know when this product will be obsolete
Hi,
Can F-RAM products be used in vacuum or near-vacuum environment?
not in space, but in the facility on the ground.

Show LessGood morning
Our purchasing dpt. ordered CY15B104QN-50SXI (industrial grade) instead of CY15B104QN-50SXA ( chosen because AEQ grade; -45 to 85oC) due to long delivery times. What is the difference between these two variants? How is the AEQ performed on separate batch, or is the Automotive grade given to the same batch, and just some of articles are taken to screening tests? I would like to assess risks of using this industrial variant in space related aplication, what would be the risk mitigation factor in using industrial variant instead of automotive?
Show LessHi all,
I am trying to interface a FM24V05 to an STM32H723 on a custom PCB, but for some reason it will not acknowledge to any write/read requests in the addressing phase. I have confirmed the address is correct and it will not reply to any of the reserved slave ID's either. I have swapped out the chip for an FM24V10 as well as other chips from a different batch. Further, I have a CY8CKIT-044 and swapped the FM24V05 onto it and found it was successfully addressed by Bridge Control.
Attached is a image of a signal analyser readout of the transaction running at 100kHz (I have tried using lower frequencies) and probed directly on the SO8 pins to rule out bad solder joints. A 3.3V supply is provided to the chip with a 0.1uF cap right next to it and was observed with an oscilloscope showing no obvious power problems between VCC and GND.
There are other devices on the bus which are all successfully talked to (I disconnected them to rule them out), with 2k7 resistors pulling the I2C lines high.
I took a signal analyser capture of the chip talking on the CY8CKIT-044 and saw no real differences and compared the schematic/PCB files and again saw no real concerns.
This has stumped me for quite a while so any help would be great!
Cheers,
Luke

Our new product is now in release phase, there is CY15B128J-SXAT chip in our design, but this chip we can't find in spot market or agent.
We don't want to change our PCB and firmware, do you have some suggestion to replace this chip with other pin to pin compatible ic and with the same register defination, so we don't need change our layout and firmware?

Can you confirm the impact of the attached changes?
Hi there,
Can you tell me the baking conditions for FM25CL64B-GTR?
What we would like to know is as follows:
・High Temperature Baking Conditions
・Low Temperature Baking Conditions
・Guaranteed Baking Times

Show LessWhat is the marking number of CY15B102QN-50SXE? Thank you in advance.
I have two of this SPI memory. I have tried to interface one with ESP 32 and other with Arduino mega but it does not work with anyone. I have used FRAM library called CYSPIFRAM because it is the most similar. Please. Is there another library for nvRAM or what did you advise for use it?
In configuration mode of included SPI library appears :
Many thanks for your help
