Hi

Regarding to EVAL_3K3W_TP_SIC

I'm trying to change the dead time thru below GUI.

the prolem are:

1) I have no idea what is the actual time (ns) of count unit in GUI, for example MAX 12 counts  CLK what is the actaual time?

2) For reg1_limit 4,172  counts of current ADC ,  What is the actual current (A)?

3) Current ADC in GUI mean output current, right?

4) Diode_to_Switch,   what dowws it mean?

Hello,

Good Day!

Thanks for posting your question in Infineon Community.

  1. I have no idea what is the actual time (ns) of count unit in GUI, for example MAX 12 counts  CLK what is the actaual time?

Dead-time is introduced using Infineon SMPS GUI. Dead-time parameters update via UART communication. Each step for calculating dead time is calculated based on clock frequency. The clock frequency is 96MHz. Please refer control_interrupts.h file in the Dave project.

  1. For reg1_limit 4,172  counts of current ADC ,  What is the actual current (A)?

             Actual current = 7A

  1. Current ADC in GUI mean output current, right?

No, it's inductor current Input side

  1. Diode_to_Switch,   what dowws it mean?

Please refer to EVAL_3K3W_TP_PFC_SiC_GUIintro.docx document for a better understanding of Diode to Switch and Switch to Diode transition in section "2.1 Current dependent dead time concept"

Best Regards,
Vinay
