I'm trying to test out the USB device function of the S6E1C. I've installed the software package for the evaluation kit, and it has a lot of example code for most of the peripherals, but nothing for USB.

Are there any USB examples at all for this part?

I tried to monitor CAN data by setting it to analyzer mode via "DAVE " tool.
But I could not find a way to receive data.

I want to receive CAN data through the following conditions.
1. that is set analyzer mode to node1
2. that is One network bus configuration with another CAN communication device.
3. that is Receive all data regardless of MO setting or Receive all data(another device).
* I want know CAN ID from some deviec by XC2000 MCU.

Please tell me how to set DAVE tool and how to use it.
Or application notes. Show Less

Are there any known errata for the old XC161 datasheet pin-out diagram? I suspect the datasheet diagram falsely shows the pins shifted along by one. I refer to "Infineon-XC161_16-DS-v02_04-en.pdf".

I am trying to troubleshoot and draw out a schematic for my  instrument cluster that uses this mcu and I was informed that the oem number "infineon 21002558" is actually an xc161. My problem is that as I map the connections from mcu to the gear indicator LEDs I find  that one LED is driven from pin 67 MRSTO while the others are driven from pins 68 to  62. This does not seem right.

Also, my VFD display-driver chip's 'serial data In' connects to the mcu pin 70, which is RXD 0/E!    I would have thought it should be a transmit pin that would send serial data to the display driver chip's input.

So that is why I wonder if the diagram was incorrect and perhaps there has been an erratum published somewhere.

Is there a migration path from this device? I have been tasked with re-designing a product line that uses this microcontroller and want to do it in the easiest way possible, i.e. not have to re-write all the code. 

The local Infineon office is useless, they tell me everything has to go through the website, I already tried that, got some chinese guy that said, don't use the microcontroller, its obsolete (duh, we already know that).

If there is a migration path, have a local to Michigan USA English speaking engineer reach out to me. Otherwise just say no easy path and we'll go the microchip route. Thanks.

Hello, I have a problem with the ASC functionality of XC2234L, which is described as follows:

The following figure shows the configuration using DAvE:

Only the configuration in the figure is done.

When I called the interface U1C1_ASC_vSendData to send a data, the program kept going through an endless loop in the graph, never being able to send.At this time, the contents of each register of U1C1 are shown in the figure:

The U1C1_TBUF00 value is a little bit in, but according to the manual, if TBUFx has data population, TCSRL.TDV will be set, but from the adjustment result, it can be seen that the data is populated but TCSRL.TDV is not set

Please help to confirm whether I have any negligence in configuration. Thank you very much!

Hello to everyone! I just installed a old version Eclipse for TriCore, because of the support for a microcontroller of mine, exact version is Infineon TC1782. The problem is my license for the software seems to be expired. When I build the application this error occurs : "internal compiler error: initialising license system License has expired (-3) (Product: tricore-free-gcc, Version: 2011.06)". So is there way to resolve this error or another way to purchase license. Thank you for your time!
