Dear community,
I need to repair a board fitted with the following older TriCore device: 12209896.
There is very little information on the net about it, except for the fact that is an automotive/avionics qualified Infineon part.
A picture is attached.
I would like to know if there is an equivalent with a "normal" TriCore product or if it's possible to get a datasheet for it.

Show LessA curious question - is it possible on a 16FX target to detect a connected debugger at runtime ?
I checked hardware manual (Cypress MB96300 Series Hardware Manual, Doc. No. 002-19737 Rev.), especially everything related to the EDSU, but no such thing was mentioned.
The ETM peripherals on Cortex M MCUs usually allows such a feature.
Background is, I consider using the USART interface reserved for the debug connection to output runtime logging messages if no debugger is connected. I am sure an attached debugger will not cope well with such a feature, probably breaking the connection.

The customer is using the FLASH MCU Programmer to program 16FX MCUs,
such as CY96F635RBPMC and CY96F685RBPMC.

Page 8, in Note it is written that "use one of the listed UART channels listed for the MCU"

(注意) 対応品種の右に示された UART ch のうちのどれか一つを選択してご使用ください。
と記載されています。
But somehow the customer wants to connect 2 UART channels to the programmer,
and asks us if such usage is acceptable or what is expected problem for programming MCU
with such configuration.
しかし、なぜか、お客様は 2つの UART チャネルを並列に接続したいが、
この場合、デバイスのプログラム時に何か影響が発生するのか知りたい
とのことです。
For example if both UART0 and UART2 are connected to the FLASH programmer,
would someone teach us the followings?
(1) Is this an acceptable set up?
(2) Is/are there expected bad effect doing (1) to program the MCU?
例えば UART0 と UART2 の両方を FLASH Programmer に接続することについて
以下、ご教示いただけないでしょうか?
(1) このような設定は許容されるのでしょうか?

Hello,
Can anyone guide me how to connect and flash blank tc1796 ?
I use j-tag with infineon memory tool . I know connection is good since i was able to connect to original chip and pull DFlash from it .
I know blank tc1796 chips require different boot configuration.
Looks like on on the pins P10 need to be connected to high level ? 3.3 or 5V ?
Can anyone confirm ?

1. We are facing some random status error issues in PWM(feedback status register), during run time. Looking for C166 microcontroller reference manual with Memory mapped registers.
Code Sample:
If(PWM_configured_in_application & (PWM_status_bit ==True))
{
PWM_working_properly;
}else
If(PWM_not_configured_in_application & (PWM_status_bit ==True))
{
PWM_Error;
}
Sporadically PWM_Error is getting triggered during run time.
2. Want to know at which instant PWM status register bits are set/clear by microcontroller at register location 0x2F9000u?
3. Please share PWM module architecture/block diagram of the same. Because no where i am finding it in user manual.

We use the SPI (SCK0_1, SOT0_1 & SIN0_1) interface of the controller. (MB9BF564L) Is this the High-Speed-Interface by Hardware or does it need some Firmware configurations? It's not clear, whitch timing we can use:
- Synchronous serial (SPI = 0, SCINV = 0) or
- High-speed synchronous serial (SPI = 0, SCINV = 0)
The ChipSelect is done with an GPIO and controlled by Firmware.

Dears.
Now my customer is using MB96F6B5A/R to implement HVAC.
By default, vector table is located in the address from 0xFFFC00 to 0xFFFFFF.
We are wondering that is possible to change vector table address because we want to put digital signature value in the area of 0xFFFC00 ~ 0xFFFFFF.
If yes, could you tell us how to relocate vector table address ?
