Power and ground pins

Question: Do Vss, Vss, Vcc, and Vcc indicate the ground and power pins. What does mean?

Answer:

These are the ground and power supply of the chip. Vss(N) and Vcc(N) are the ground and power supply for the output buffers only, whereas, Vcc and Vss are the power and ground for the rest of the internal circuits of the chip. Generally, in Cypress synchronous FIFOs, the power and ground pins for both the output buffers and the internal circuits of the chip require the same voltage levels. That means they can be treated as the same.
