Question: What are the basic necessities of an Analog Block to work properly in PSoC1 ?
Answer:
To make most of the analog PSoC blocks operate:
- Analog_Power, Ref_Power and SC_.Power must all be turned on in the global resources section. See the API section of the User Module datasheets.
- Each user module must also be turned on using the start or set power instruction supplied in the API.
- Inputs to the analog PSoC block must be routed from another PSoC block or through a port pin configured as an analog input, possibly with an input multiplexer.
- Analog PSoC block outputs must be routed either to other PSoC blocks or through the output buffers to a port pin configured as an analog output.
