Question: When using a Chipmaster6000 Universal Programmer Ver 4.40 with Socket Adapter SDP-UNIV-16SO, trying to program CY2292F with jedec file, Checksum = 10BA(H) the result is checksum = 141C(H). What is wrong?
Answer:
Cypress does not recognize the ChipMaster6000 as a qualified third-party programmer. Contact the manufacturer for help. Cypress qualified programmers are BP Microsystems, System General, and HiLo Systems. We have our General Purpose Clocks Third-Party Programmer List on our website with details.
