IPMのDIP 36x21D packageについて教えてください。
DIP 36x21D packageの上面の放熱プレートは内部と絶縁されておりますでしょうか。
I am interested in using IRSM808-204MH in a new product design. The datasheet is not clear about a few things.
1. How is the "DT" (dead time) pin supposed to be used? What do you connect it to, and how does that control the dead-time?
2. Is the part fully protected from a Shoot Through condition? The truth table shows "Shoot Through" but does not explain if the part is protected from damage in this condition.
3. What is the maximum switching frequency of this part?

I selected IMX828 device for the application of DC_DC converter front end converter.
Planned to operate it at frequency of 80kHz @ 15V Vdd.
How much wattage power supply required for the Vdd.
Also what will be the power consumption of the complete IPM IMX828.
Suggest for the suitable calculations to use the IPM with my 4kW dc-dc converter ( Input : 500V & Output : 12V )Show Less
it is first time using IRSM005-800MH .
I encountered some trouble.
I have circuit like below.
what I'm expecting is high side FET turn on. and to see V_LOAD : 35V. with V_HGATE=50(=35+15)V
but , high side is not turned on at all. V_LOAD : 0V, with V_HGATE=0V.
I'm afraid , I'm taking something wrong using this device.
My purpose is just to use this device as high side load switch.
please help me.
what I found is V_HGATE just follows VS level. no boost-up to enable gate of the FET. whether HIN is enabled or not.
程序设计思路，HA :1 LA :0 HB:0 LB:1 内部MOS管导通方式为 A+,B- A端可以测到电源电压。如果把电机接进去 电机应该有抖动。
We are using IKCM30F60GD for a 220V 200Hz 9A motor drive circuit with 8kHz sinusoidal PWM. We have the PCB ready and is driving the motor as desired.
However, we need to have protection for shorted motor windings, i.e. U-V or V-W or U-W shorted.
We have created a current sense circuit that creates a voltage well above 0.47V (limited to 3.1V) at I_TRIP pin in case of a high current(33mV/A), and this circuit rises I_TRIP voltage to 0.5V in 1.2usec. That trips the IPM successfully and shuts the output successfully. We have tested the circuit with down to 2 ohms instead of direct short, and it worked flawlessly.
However, when we go down near 1 ohm, or short, the IPM shuts down the output, however it dies. After it is dead, we have measured inbetween P,Nx,U,V,W and it seems like IGBTs are fine, we measure the same values as a non-faulty IPM. However, there is a diode reading of 1.7V on VDD to VSS with the multimeter(VSS on cathode lead).
And when we power the faulty IPM using only VDD and VSS pins with +15V, we have 200mA current drawn. And the heat on the package is coming from the point just in the upper side of pin 7.
Why is this happening?
