Hi, my customer want to get "SOA curve of IGBT Module FZ600R12KP4".
Will you be able to provide this SOA curve?
Data sheet shows RBSOA curve but not SOA curve.
Thanks & b.regards,

Hi,
First please go through the document attached here.
Since customer wants max specification limits of IGBT for DC operation. It is already mentioned in the datasheet and will same apply to the FBSOA curve of IGBT.
For FZ600R12KP4 module continuous collector current is 600A, max collector to emitter voltage is 1200V and Tvjmaxop is 150 deg C. Device should be within these limit for safe operation.

Hi ,
Thank you for providing me a design curve.
I have a question about your reply. Data shows "SOA Diode". Is this mean, this data refer to SOA Diode but this is also can be use as "SOA IGBT"? Pls see attached that shows IGBT discrete IKP40N65F5 SOA that can be see from it's data sheet. This is real "SOA IGBT". Why IGBT discrete has SOA curve but IGBT module don't have SOA curve in the data sheet? Pls let me know!
Thanks & b.regards,

Hi, I sent the document that you sent me and I got question from customer.
Question is...Is this curve can be apply for DC operation? or AC operation?
If that data shows AC operation, pls send me the design curve for DC operation.
Appreciate for your support!
Thanks & b.regards,
