Hello,

The utilisation of the ir2010pbf is unclear for me . They is 2 GND , one for Vss (numerical partp and one for the COM (mosfet part). Does these 2 GND must be connected together or are they really isolared (like for example octocouplers).

Greatd regards , Deso

Hello @berdeso ,

IR2010PBF is a non-isolated gate driver.  Vss is the logic ground and COM is the low side return. But since the gate driver is non-isolated, you may connect Vss & COM together.

But the best practice would be to keep the GND plane of Vss and GND plane of COM separate and connect both the planes via a star point, in order to improve the EMC performance of your system.
