Hi

I have a general question about the SOA curve provided in the datasheet of MOSFETs.

I have several 48V consumers (DC-Fan, DCDC-Converters) which I would like to switch by MOSFETs instead of relais, as it is now in our application The Vds will be between 42-58V usually. If I look at the SOA of e.g. the IAUA250N08S5N018 

am I only allowed to drive around 2A @50Vds? DS also says 35A continuous which confuses me. 

My worst case values are 16A @56V, can IAUA250N08S5N018  handle this?

We are using TLE4999C8 Hall Sensor, for our application we wanted to implement the Short Serial Message (SSM) feature. 

We are able to successfully communicate with TLE4999C8 using SENT interface, however we are not able to verify the 8 bit CRC.

Could you please help us with some sample code to calculate the 8bit CRC for the short serial message format and SPC.

Hi All

We have developed firmware using cyfx3 sdk 1.3, that can be able to write debug logs into USB CDC in super speed mode. We face situation like video stream stop after some time of continues streaming. We have collected logs and that was not give much information intern of diagnosing the issue. I would like to know about, how can we enable more log capability for situation like this. I am considering providing backup power to the Vcc pin of the ILD8150XUMA1. Under normal circumstances, we plan to supply approximately 60V to the Vin pin. However, there are potential fault conditions where the voltage may drop to as low as 1V. In such situations, we want the internal logic of the chip to continue functioning normally. My question is: Will supplying a backup voltage of around 6.8V to the Vcc pin in the absence of Vin cause any issues or complications?

I understand VCC provides the output voltage from internal regulator but still can this be use to provide 6.8V externally.

I have the #EVAL-M5EVAL-M5-IMZ120R-SIC, which is a 3-phase inverter board, and I want to make it work with a 48V DC-link voltage. In the manual, it's mentioned that changing one of the resistors will allow the auxiliary supply to trigger at a lower voltage.

"For example changing the resistor value of R668 from 14 kΩ(default value) to 39 kΩ will alow AUX supply to trigger at lower DC voltage of around 200V instead of 400 V."

Is there a formula available to determine how to change that specific resistor? I've attempted to comprehend the #ICE5QSAGIC to understand how to make these modifications, but I'm struggling with it. Can anyone provide assistance?
