We have a custom designed film with three mutual capacitive buttons on it. I am using the PSoC 4100S Max Pioneer demo kit to drive it using an FPC breakout board I wired. I am seeing significant coupling between the buttons: when I attempt to activate one, the others also register a touch. I have attempted adjusting the TX clock divider, number of sub-conversations and clock sources without any noticeable change. Are there other settings in the ModusToolbox Tuner app I can try adjusting to reduce this coupling?

I am using a 2 button design for controlling a small user interface. Most of the time the buttons are just page forward and backward control. However there is also an internal device setup menu. In this menu there are certain parameters to adjust. For there adjustments I want to allow the user to have an auto repeat function. This function should be activated by holding either of the two buttons for a longer time. Due to the enabled auto-reset (5 seconds) this won't work longer than these 5 seconds. Also going to 20 seconds is not long enough for my application requirement. The auto-reset of 5 seconds is good for the normal use case (not setup menu), since the device is battery powered and should switch off when no user interaction is sensed anymore.
This would require some sort of dynamic control of the auto-reset feature. However this could only be controlled "statically" by changing the entire configuration page, going to a reset cycle in order to get the new configuration loaded.
Question: is there any method of switching auto-rest on/off in a dynamically way via i2c access?

從下圖我們可以看到, 當從Active mode跳到Look for touch mode的時候, 中間是沒有下command的,
另外, 從Look for touch mode跳到Look for proximity mode的時候, 中間也是沒有下command的,
想請問以上這兩種模式的相互跳躍的機制為何呢?! 是可以被configure的嗎?! 還是這兩種模式之間的跳躍的機制已經是被固定住的呢?

想請問以下第七章談到MBR低功耗設計的注意事項, 而在7.1節中一開始就提到CY8CMBR3xxx 的工作模式:
MBR總共有5種工作模式, 想請問的是: 是不是這5種操作模式的每一種工作模式都有其對應的低功耗模式操作呢?!
我的意思是說, 每一種工作模式的低功耗操作都不盡相同, 對嗎?!
比方說: deep sleep mode是一個獨立的低功耗工作模式, 它並不是歸屬在其他工作模式之下的!!
另外, 就是規格書中還有一個ultra low power,
請問這個ultra low power似乎沒有被明確指出它是在以下5種工作模式的哪一種, 所以這邊也有點疑惑,

#1. How to treat those unused pins of the MBR(CY8CMBR3106S)?!
Could we keep them floating instead of connecting them to ground?!
#2. About the pin 18 of MBR(CY8CMBR3106S), why this pins18 have to be connected to ground?!
#3. Do you have any power consumption data about MBR(CY8CMBR3106S)?!

Our customer is planning on a new IoT device project, battery operated and wants to use capsense to (touch) wake up and also using capsense for device functions control (exact functions via capsense not fully defined yet).
Our customer wants to know first if IFX has feasible capsense solution as the material of their IoT device is quite special !
The base material of the device will be silicone, and our customer will also have a detachable sleeve/jacket on the device which is made of cotton or fleece type of material. The base silicone material will have a thickness up to 4mm. The cotton/fleece sleeve jacket will also have a thickness up to 4mm. Altogether up to 8mm (under 1cm).
Our customer is asking if any PSoC4 with Capsense can support/operate on both :
a). just on the base silicon material (up to 4mm thickness)
b). on top of the base silicon material + the cotton/fleece type of material (overall up to 8mm thickness)
Can the PSoC 4100S Max and/or the new PSoC 4000T (fifth-generation CAPSENSE™ and MULTI-SENSEtechnology) meet the customer's requirements ?
If yes, please help to advise which specific PSoC4 part # and please also help to provide any relevant application note(s).
