Hi Everyone,
My Name is Amarr, Present I am working on CY8CKIT-145-40XX PSOC 4000S Prototyping kit
My Requirement is use CapSense Sliding Sensor only (NOT Buttons) to use in Multiple operations like below
1) CapSense_ONE_FINGER_SINGLE_CLICK and CapSense_ONE_FINGER_DOUBLE_CLICK
2) CapSense_ONE_FINGER_SCROLL_UP and CapSense_ONE_FINGER_SCROLL_DOWN
I am using below mentioned Project to achieve above mentioned requirements, But I am Unable to do the Configurations for CapSense sensor.
I followed below "Infineon-CE210709_CapSense_Linear_Slider_and_Buttons-Code Example-v02_00-EN" Document and Downloaded "CE210709_CapSense_Linear_Slider_and_Buttons" project from PSOC 4.4 Creator and Start working it
Can you please guide me to do CapSense Configurations to get above mentioned things?

Hello guys,
1. I have one CY8CKIT-148 and a CY8CKIT-148-COIL kit, I am trying to program it using PSoC Creator 4.4 but it always give me this warning/error. Until yesterday I was able to program and debug the board that is already programmed and working.
2. I have a MiniProg4 probe so I tryed to connect it to perform the same task but also in this case it returns me the same error. P.S. It is the first time I am using this probe.
3. I updated the firmware of both .
So, I would like to know if both are working or not, if I have any problem preventing them working. I tryed also using PSoC programmer but without any good result.
Show LessHow do the CapSense architectures between PSoC4 and PSoC5LP families differ/relate with focus on proximity sensing (with CSD)? I just found the comparison between the third and fourth-generation CapSense of the PSoC4 family.
Show LessI am new to the Capsense application. We have a CY8CMBR3108 and when I try to generate a configure by setting the target as the CY8C, I get the IIC and the HEX file, but no Header file.
What might be wrong?
Thanks
Narayan
Show LessHello, I purchased the CY8C20447S-24LQXI and received the parts as pictured.
The top markings of the part do not confirm if it is indeed the item CY8C20447S-24LQXI.
Can you confirm that the part as shown in the picture is part CY8C20447S-24LQXI?
Please find attachment for picture.
I am concerned that this part may be a CY8C20447S-24LQXC or a CY8C20447S-24LQI, is this possible? Do these two items exist?

At the beginning I will note that all sensors are working properly. The problem is in reading registers.
I use the BUTTON_STAT register and an interrupt to read the state of the sensors. When an interrupt occurs, I read the contents of the BUTTON_STAT register.
The problem appears when the program performs another operation and the user has time to remove the finger from the sensor. Then I read the value 0x00 from the register.
I found a solution where I read LATCHED_ BUTTON_STAT. I can do it even a second later and the command will be executed anyway.
A question for you. How to delete the contents of the LATCHED_ BUTTON_STAT register after its reading?
Show LessI have read all the capsense app notes, they mention a Cm12 and a 2K series resistor, but I cannot find an example of a hardware implementation circuit. I have looked.
Show LessHi
I have to build a 4 layer board. It has 5 capacitive touch sensors, LEDs (backlight), other parts like 14 segment displays and more LEDs. My plan is to put the sensors, the capsense controller (Cy8cmbr3) and backlight LEDs on one region of the board and the rest of the components ( LED driver, segment driver, some connectors) on the other region.
Below is the stackup I have planned. I am looking for recommendation on anything obviously wrong or might not work with this stackup. My understanding from reading the 'Getting started with capsense' guide is that solid ground pours can't be done in under the sensors in any layer. Is it ok to do a solid VDD pour throughout L2 keeping away from just sensor traces and maybe even keep away from under the sensors? Or is it better to avoid all pours near the sensor and sensor traces?

Hello,
I'm working on a project were I need to measure or detect the waterlevel in an adjacent case where water is flowing. The intention is to create a pcb with a Capsense pattern and place is to wall of this case and use one of the Cypress MCU to do the algorithm. But I have no experience with this and don't know which MCU is best for this application.
We have a prototype that works with a STM32 MCU, but the accuracy is not good enough. That is why we want to switch to one of Cypress MCU.
My questions:
- Which Cypress MCU is best for my project?
- What kind of pattern for the Capsense sensor is best for my application?
If needed I can provide the Capsense sensor design pattern we use at the moment.
Thank you.
Kind regards,
Sergio van Vliet
