I used CYBT-333047 to test near the communication limit.
After repeating the service search every 30 seconds, CYBT-333047 stops responding. And it won't work until you reset it.

SDP becomes unresponsive with our firmware, but SPP communication is possible.
When using EZ-Serial Ver. 1.1.14, it will not respond at all. (SDP, SPP, Pair)

Our products are used up to the communication limit distance. Therefore, this issue needs to be fixed.
Is there a workaround?

Hi,

I believe, EZ serial firmware are only created for the modules CYBT-343026-01, CYBT-353027-02. Check https://www.cypress.com/documentation/software-and-drivers/ez-serial-ez-ble-module-firmware-platform 

 

If you are using WICED STUDIO please change the stack configuration on the wiced_bt_cfg.c inorder to change the advertising or scanning duration. You can try changing the high_duty_scan_duration or low_duty_scan_duration to change it. 0 for infinite time.

CYBT-333047 is compatible with CYBT-343026. So, EZ serial for CYBT-343026 is installed and provided.

I'm building firmware on Modus Toolbox 2.3 & SDK 3.0.
This issue occurs on modules on the SPP server side.
If you search for a service from Android or CYBT-333047 in poor communication status, the module will stop responding.

I stopped Advertising of BLE and set page_scan_interval to low duty, but there was no change in the symptom.

Have you solved the issue?

Try to get the latest firmware for CYBT-333047 from EZ-Serial page, and retry the test. It is not recommended to use the firmware built for CYBT-343026 in CYBT-333047.
