Hello,
Backported Cypress-fmac-v5.15.58-2023_0801 to arm64 kernel 5.10.104. Followed the instructions in the README, while loading the kernel module brcmfmac.ko, I get the following errors:

hxxxxxx@cb2-015:~$ sudo insmod /lib/modules/5.10.104-tegra/brcmfmac.ko

Show LessHi,
I am having a CY4373 module, Laird LWB5+. My gateway does not have any external oscillator and we need to use the internal oscillator to make the wifi work.
Right now I am getting this error
brcmfmac: brcmf_sdio_htclk: HT Avail timeout (1000000): clkctl 0x50
Is it because of no external LPO? Is there a way i can force it to use the internal one?
I have tried pulling the WL_Disable pin as HIGH, which is WL_REG_ON. But still getting the same error. It is slight urgent for us to figure out a solution to this. Can you suggest some other WiFi module in the same form factor. M.2 2230 E Key with SDIO which can work without external LPO if there is no way to make this CY4373 work.
We do not have an option to go with the respin of the board.
What guidance does Infineon have for getting through FCC testing with WiFI6/6E certified modules?
Infineon provided manufacturing profiles through WICED for previous modules. Those profiles could be used during FCC snif testing . Snif testing being a short test to ensure the certified module is behaving similar to its behavior when it was certified.
Aside: Michael Fortner created a nice KBA that applies to WICED based modules. Could that be updated for Infinenon's current ecosystem with their partners? Show LessHi,
I'm supporting a customer where they are asking help to interface the LWB5+ (module based on CYW4373E silicon) to the STM32F.
We do understand this device is not supported on the list provide by AIROC™ Wi-Fi/Bluetooth® STM32 expansion pack user guide, so I'm wondering if this is something Infineon would be able to support?
Customer tried to migrate the code to use stm32F4, however they hit a round block on the migration. They are not able to run the ble stack.
Seems to be an issue more for LWB5+, the stm32 connectivity pack doesn’t support STM32F4 microcontroller, so they had to modify the code in PAL, however it doesn’t seem to work. They are looking for a support on how to integrate Infineon chipset PAL into STMF4...
Any thoughts?
Thank you in advance,
Marcelo - Field Application Engineer for Neutronics

Good day
Is there someone that can assist me with an example of connecting a STM32F2xx to the CYW4373?
I would like to use BLE and WiFi. Are the drivers in the SDK package of ST?
I just want to know before even I start the design effort.
Show LessHi
we are using jetson nano and CYW54591 Wi-Fi BT chipset with module name LBEE5XV1XA-540 we have the WL tool binary with us, we need to test the below test modes
1. We need to select the module, in our case it is 1XA whose description is 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac
2. Test modes - Continuous Transmit |
Carrier Wave |
Receive |
3. Select Antenna Configuration - SISO | MIMO
4. Select Antenna - Main antenna | Auxiliary antenna
5. Select band - 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz
6. Select bandwidth - 20 MHz | 40 MHz | 80 MHz
Select Channel Number -
1- LOW - Channel 1 | 2 - MID - Channel 6 | 3 - HIGH - Channel 11
5. Select Data rate
6. Select Transmit Parameter Setting Option

Dear 团队 : RSDB和MIMO 分别适用什么场景,谢谢
Hi friend
When I started hostap with cyw43455 and connected. The following error is reported.

When I look at the forums. I have seen other customers have similar problems with fmac, so I wonder if it is the fmac version that causes this problem.
the fmac version: #cypress-fmac-v5.15.58-2023_0523.zip
thanks
Jay
