AIROC™ Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Bluetooth Combos Forum Discussions
Hello
The datasheet for CYBT-343026-01 only provides a summary of the profiles supported by the module, please let me know all the Bluetooth profiles and protocols that this module supports from software point of view.
Thanks,,
Hi,
I'm using CYW4373 and fmac v5.15.58-2023_0901.
I would like to roam between APs, but even if the RSSI of the AP becomes bad, the AP will not switch.
Should we set it up like that?
The AP is configured with WPA2-PSK or WPA3-SAE.
Regards,
Show LessHi Team,
I could see the mainline has support for brcmfmac driver in the 6.1 kernel. But I couldn't get the wifi up on my device.
I could see that your GitHub firmware was updated up to 5.15.58, could you guys share the updated firmware for 6.1 kernel?
Thanks,
Prasanth R
Show LessWhat guidance does Infineon offer to reduce power spikes with CYW43012 based designs.
There appear to be inrush power spikes at power-on and wake-up.
A CYW43012 based Module appears to need about 600mA-700mA peak current consumption.
Are there options to skew or sequence functions that require large inrush to limit peak current to 500mA?

Show LessHi,
I was trying to cross compile the cypress-fmac driver for my Ambarella S3L platform.
I prepared the .config with this command:-
make -b KLIB=$MY_KERNEL KLIB_BUILD=$MY_KERNEL CROSS_COMPILE=/usr/local/linaro-armv7ahf-2017.08-gcc7.1/bin/arm-linux-gnueabihf- defconfig-brcmfmac
I executed the build with this command:-
make -b KLIB=$MY_KERNEL KLIB_BUILD=$MY_KERNEL ARCH=arm CROSS_COMPILE=/usr/local/linaro-armv7ahf-2017.08-gcc7.1/bin/arm-linux-gnueabihf- modules
Note that, MY_KERNEL is pointing to the installed SDK linux folder /kernel/linux-3.10_s3l.
However, I encountered this kind of errors:-
<TOPDIR>/v5.15.58-backports/include/linux/list.h:308:2: error: implicit declaration of function ‘smp_store_release’; did you mean ‘__release’? [-Werror=implicit-function-declaration]
smp_store_release(&entry->next, entry);
<TOPDIR>/v5.15.58-backports/include/linux/list.h:326:27: error: implicit declaration of function ‘smp_load_acquire’; did you mean ‘__acquire’? [-Werror=implicit-function-declaration]
struct list_head *next = smp_load_acquire(&head->next);
<TOPDIR>/v5.15.58-backports/backport-include/linux/time.h:5:10: fatal error: linux/time64.h: No such file or directory
#include <linux/time64.h>
cc1: some warnings being treated as errors
compilation terminated.
Is there any patches required to fix this? The kernel in this instance is v3.10
Thank you.
Show LessI am looking for developing Bluetooth PCB to integrate sensors. Anyone has a solution? Qty- 1000+ per annum.
Are there examples of using LInux' Traffic Control "tc" commands to reduce power consumption of WiFi modules?
Does Infineon support Linux' Traffic Control "tc" commands?
Or stated differently, is there anything built into or missing from Infineon's radios that would preclude use of Linux' "tc" commands?
I'm specifically interested in modules based on Infineon's lowest power WiFi silicon, CYW43012 and CYW43022.

Show Lesshi sir: I've always installed modustoolbox3.1 before, and when I'm on the D drive, I can successfully compile bulid normally. After uninstalling and installing according to the default path, I am now able to create a new project normally, but the following error was reported during the build
C: /users/dsq/modustoolbox/tools_3.1/make/core_version3/startex-v3.mk:159: *** Libraries: recipe-make " "Not found Run " make getlibs " to ensure all required build and code dependencies are present.. STOP.
"C: /users/dsq/modustoolbox/tools_3.1/modus-shell/bin/make cy_make_ide=eclipse CY_IDE_TOOLS_DIR=C: /users/dsq/modustoolbox/tools_3.1 CY_IDE_BT_TOOLS_DIR= --output-sync -j16 all terminated with exit code 2 " . Build might be strange.
Looks like the mtb_shared path hasn't been found, please help take a look
