Hello Cypress Team,

Currently, we are planning to add the WiFi-BLE feature to our existing product.

We explored the cypress solutions and found that the CYW series probably suffice our requirements.

Here is a brief list of requirements for our application.
  • WiFi a/b/g/n/ac support.
  • BLE 5.0 support.
  • Operate on 2.4GHz and 5GHz Dual Band.
  • AP & STA both work simultaneously.
  • WiFi & BLE works simultaneously.
  • Must have Free RTOS support.
  • Host Interface - SDIO/USB
Request you to suggest a suitable solution as per our application.

Also let us know where we can find the RTOS driver for the same.

Hi,

Seems like you need 802.11 ac support, the CYW43012 is 'AC friendly' does not support the very high bandwidth channels.  But based on our current portfolio and what is readily available, its the best start. Have you decided on the Host MCU ?

We have a solution with a PSoC 6 MCU + CYW43012 readily available.

2 options to choose from, only difference is the MCU.

PSoC 6 Supports Free RTOS and the Modus Toolbox AnyCloud SDK is a good starting point for development.  Please let us know if we can assist you with any more clarification/ help.

Hi,

My suggestion would be to evaluate with the WiFi Host Driver. You will have to port it to your ST environment. The required documents are also in the same git link.

You can also refer to the Anycloud SDK to use it as an example in your porting effort.
