XMC™ Forum Discussions
We are using xmc4108q48k64baxuma1 for one of our new products.
We would like to know what are all the ways we could flash the device.
Also what are the hardware pins we could use for the same.
What are all the boot options to be taken Care?
Even though we have verified the user manual and eval board reference schematics, we still find difficulty in understanding the process.
Please support us in detail to resolve the same with examples.

Show LessHello,
At run time, I want to deinit I2C which was initialized as Master and reinitialize as I2C Slave. I was hoping this could be achieved by resetting the peripheral clock for the I2C. I have not run into any peripheral-clock-reset routine in the clock driver generated by Dave.
I did not run into any deinit routine in the I2C driver generated by Dave either.
Can this be done at run time? and if so how? What driver calls would you call to achieve this?
Btw, I cannot afford resetting the XMC MCU.
thank you in adavance,
Show LessHi team,
We are facing an issue regarding changing an MCU from XMC1403Q040X0200AAXUMA1 to XMC4108Q48K64BAXUMA1.
In XMC1403Q040X0200AAXUMA1 , We have SPI chip select of 4 numbers. But in new XMC4108Q48K64BAXUMA1, We have only 2 chip select pins available as per XMC Pinout Tool and DAVE IDE. Can we use GPIO's as a Chip select pins?

Dear
I wan't to download the XMC example code from this website, but it has been offline for over 2 weeks.
https://www.infineon.com/cms/en/product/promopages/aim-mc/dave_downloads.html
I can download normally when I use it in November, but recently it shows "This site can’t be reached"
I have checked the check-box, still can't download.
Even if I change the IP it is still 404
And I also want to download the peripheral library package is as follows,
http://dave.infineon.com/Libraries/XMCLib/XMC_Peripheral_Library_v2.1.2.zip
Also show "This site can’t be reached"
If the dave example website can't fix, could you please provide the peripheral library package to me?
Thanks,
Kris

Hi there!
I'm currently working with XMC4400Platform2Go, and I'm trying to send and receive data through my PC.
However, when I lauch the program, nothing happens. I have connected the XMC board to the PC with a USB cable. Do I need an USB to UART serial adapter?
Also, I have assigned P0.5 to receive data and P1.15 for transmitting. Is it correct?
Thanks in advance!
Show LessHi, i need help on Dave IDE. I'm trying to put a signal of reciver of a radiocontrol to the microcontroller of "H-bridge Kit 2 go", but i dont know the APP is more suitable for that... For now i try the Capture app to determinate the dutycycle and the period, but whe i move the stick, there is some delay on the motor. Maybe my code is not good, i dont know..
Anyone can help me please?
Show LessThis isn't a problem, just an observation...
I am currently integrating a project with XMC1302 new from the factory. As expected and I can connect serially with Memtool and the boot mode is ASC_BSL. But if I connect to the processor (still unprogrammed) with a J-Link in SWD mode, the boot mode seems to change itself to SWD0 and I can load code using the JLink tools!
This is actually a convenient thing, but I'm curious of this is some new, undocumented feature, or maybe I'm just confused?
