Hello everyone,

I will use the MCU XMC1404-F064X0200 AA to design a frequency controller for induction motors, and I noticed that I can generate SPWM signals using the internal CCU8 unit of the MCU. Is it possible to utilize the CCU8 unit to generate the necessary signals to control the motor without involving the MCU's internal CPU, allowing me to perform other tasks in the program? If this is possible, is there any application note that can guide me in achieving what I desire?

I've been searching for information on the functions of the pins of an XMC1400, and I didn't think it would be so complicated. I had to read many application notes to get an idea of which pins I could use for my application, but I still have many doubts. Could you help me confirm that the pins I'm using can fulfill the functions I desire?

1. AI: All signals starting with AI are analog input signals.
2. PWM: These signals should be connected to CCU8 to generate SPWM signals.
3. DI: I will use these signals as external interrupts.
4. Tx and Rx are signals for UART communication.

I have a few questions about the XMC Pinout Tool.

First of all I wanted to ask if the XMC Pinout Tool runs with the free Java version (Oracle Java SE v17 LTS) without restrictions?

Secondly, I would like to ask whether the Java licence for e.g. Java Update 8 381 is included with the Pinout Tool, as this Java version normally incurs licence costs.

I try with xmc4500 Relax Lite cart to receive a string of charapter from Uart with dave project.

I use Interrupt function for capture 10 charapter and read with UART_Receive(&UART_0, read_data,10);

My problem is that if i sent a different number of charapter the buffer is misaligned (example when test of possible error), and I not able to realign when detect the error.

I have a start charapter = $ at position 0  , but when the buffer is misaligned  not possible work .

How is possible reset the uart buffer or clear ?

EVAL_3K3W_TP_PFC_SIC 测试环境：

1、demo切至逆变模式；

2、AC端接阻性负载（不接ac并网模拟器）；

3、DC端输入DC400V电源；

测试结果:AC端无 AC230V 电压输出;

问题：当前demo板的默认软件是否不支持上述的测试环境? 是否可以提供支持上述测试环境的软件版本?

 I am working on a project using xmc7200 where I have 2 push buttons   5 modes and an OLED.1 button is for navigating through the mode, and another is to select or enter the mode. How to implement this . I tried with the below code but nothing happens when I press the button .

How can we set the baud rate to non-constant?

in my application, I need to change the UART baud rate according to some scenario. 

So the baud rate setting can not be constant.

But if I add the UART app and set a baud rate, it is constant. And it's generated by DAVE, if I change it manually, it will change back to "const" after next generate. it's kind of risk for me.

Hi all,

I need to control  an ADC with the XMC4700 by SPI. My requierements are:

• Mode = Dual SPI
• Fs SCLK = 15 MHz
• Frame periodicity = 1.75 us

Therefore, I need to send consecutive frames every each 1.75 us. The issue that I have found is that I am not able to reduce the time between consecutive SPI frames.

What I need to achieve:

I am using the XMC Lib and DMA mode. I attach de DAVE project used for the XMC4700 evaluation board. What I actually achieve:

I would like to higlight that using the SPI_CONFIG app or the SPI_MASTER app I do not achieve what I need neither. This is why I use the low level XMC Lib.

Could anyone help me to improve my code and get the frame rate that I need?
