Hello,

I want the XMC to run in hibernate domain when no VDDP is supplied. I want to run only the RTC and nothing else. I assume by setting some of the system control registers when the XMC is running I can configure what runs in the hibernate domain when VDDP is turned off. Is that correct? What do I need to set? Hello,

I would like to use Infineon DAP miniWiggler V3 and Infineon Memtool for flashing application SW and bootloader to my board with XMC4100-F64-128, I can download there easily a bootloader (I have on board LED which shows me a status of SW and it shows me that bootloader is working),
but after downloading application SW, it is not working. Just bootloader is working.

It is strange, that if I download there this SW with original KEIL programmer and KEIL development SW it works well. Where can be a problem?


Target configuration in Memtool is : "Infineon XMC4100 Hexagon Kit XMC4100 (DAS)"

I can se there "FLASH programmimg prepared but not enabled" ? Does it mean that I can´t use this programmer?


Is it possible to flash bootloader and application SW with DAPminiWiggler and DAve?
In manual for mini Wiggler is written that I have to chose a BMI (ASC BSL or SWD/SPD) for XMC1100-XMC1300, is it also needed for XMC4100-F64-128?

Hi,

Manual describes reset cause in RSTSTAT register, but description is not complete. What means PV reset? I am unable find this reset cause.

If I trigger software reset I get RSTSTAT=8 this is OK. If I power on board I get 7, bits PORST, SWD,PV set, why not only PORST? Sometimes I get 9, PORST and CPU system reset set?

Can someone explain 7 and 9?

Hi everyone,

How can I do a check on received UDP message and react to it.
For example if the message was “1234” then do task 1
If the message was “4321” do task 2
Else do task 3.
The conditions are not so many. The messages are coming from a PC and I know the messages.
First idea came to my mind was to covert the struct to hex and compare the hex equivalent like if (hex (message) == hex(1234)) { … }
But I don’t know if it will work or not. And also I could not find the command to convert the struct into the hex.
Does anybody know which command I can use? Do I need to include any header file as well?

Hi,

I am implementing procedure for LPAC threshold calibration as described on page 11-30 of xmc4400 manual. Sometimes, for unknown reason, operation COMPARE COMPLETED never finish. Bit VBATSCMP of LPACST never becomes 1.
Can someone from Infineon provide explanation?

Other question how long takes one comparison, from trigger to VBATSCMP=1?

Hello everyone,

what do these errors mean?

`.bss' will not fit in region `DSRAM_1_system'
region SRAM_combined overflowed no_init section
region `DSRAM_1_system' overflowed by -44 bytes

I want to implement ACADO Toolkit optimization in XMC 4500 relax kit. I think the code is pretty large.

How can I avoid this error?
is it possible to use other memory area instead of DSRAM? (I am beginner to Infineon boards and I am using default memory setting).

We need a bus communication that requires a minimum of CPU core time and interrupts.
How much of the Ether CAT is realized in HW? Is there a chart for USB etc of code required.

I am trying to use the XMC4500 (BGA144) with an external memory and all 6 USICs, but it seems there is a pinout problem. The EBU for the external memory uses the ports P0.5 and P2.14 and these are also the ports used by USIC U1C0.

Does this really mean that this USIC cannot be used when external memory is connected? Or is this an error in the Pinout Tool? Show Less
