Hi All,
Where in the documentation does it describe how the low-pass filtering is performed? I can not seem to find the details, it just gives clock cycles and say it is low pass.

Hi,
I'm writing here because I'm interested in using the preprocessing capabilities of the XMC4800 VADC.
In particular, I'm looking at the possibility to filter input data through the pre-defined FIR or IIR filters inside the APP. However, I did not find any details about these functionalities (i.e, how these filters are implemented and what is the meaning of the parameters that appears in the APP menu).
Where can I find more information about this topic? Is there any example from which I can understand the meaning of the several available options?
Thanks in advance,
Luca Show Less

Hello all. I am working on the XMC4500 Evaluation Board and as you can see here the XMC4500 MCU runs at 120 MHz. I would like to bring that down to 100 MHz because I am trying to implement a Timer init function and interrupt handler. A basic 1ms heartbeat timer is needed for much of the testing I need to do regarding this board. I found this reference manual for that specific MCU on this board. I've been told I could alter the clock going into the systick or alter the PLL configuration but I am new to this and I am not too sure how to approach this. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Hello,
is it possible to get the number of received clocks? I have a Spi with DMA transfer and it is necessary for me to detect the number of clocks.
If I receive an additional clock pulse my data transfer isn't valid any more.
Are there any solutions for the XMC4800?
Thank you very much. Show Less

Hello,
I'm trying to debug issues with using the retention memory. I am getting Hard Faults, I believe. I have enabled Hard Fault debugging using CPU_CTRL_XMC4 App, but the debugger never breaks, it just keeps running and when I manually break, the program counter is in the VADC0_G3_3_IRQHandler Default Handler.
1) What does this actually mean? I'm pretty sure there's no reason for VADC0_G3_3_IRQHandler to actually be called, it must be masking a different (default) handler.
2) If this is actually the result of a hard fault, what could be the reasons the debug support isn't working? Are there any compiler options needed to make it work? Show Less

Hi Sir/Madam,
I am Working on XMC4200 my requirement is Run the Application from PSRAM after user input signal, Let us say application is Running From Flash and user sends signal,
Then the already stored code should be Loaded Into PSRAM and need to Run.
in order to achieve i have done the following procedure.
1) i have taken a simple LED blink program and Converted to array format using bintohex.exe
2) waiting for the user signal
3) when ever i got the signal i am copying the (LED Blink array) to PSRAM location From 0x1FFFC000 ( verified with memory window the entire array was loaded success fully)
Please Let me know is the above procedure is Correct ?? if Correct Please guide me how to run the code.
if the above procedure was Wrong then guide the right procedure to full fill my requirement.
Note: Signal Refers Interrupt.
Thanks and Regards,

Hi,
I'm trying to control a 800x280 pixel TFT-display using an XMC1300 together with the S1D13781 controller from Epson.
As far is I saw in the graphics library available from epson it relies on the two apps "SPI_MASTER" and "DIGITAL_IO".
All available sample projects use the XMC4700, which is far to powerful for my application, therefore I decided to try it with the XMC1300.
I configured the necessary apps according to the "xmc4700_s1d13781_withapps"-project, except for the pin-mapping.
Unfortunately on initializing the Displaycontroller using the "void S1d13781::init()"-Method, the code loops forever at the point where it requests the PLL-lock. *
I always receive "0" for an answer, independent of the requested register, so it seems like SPI-Communication fails. Shouldn't this be possible using the XMC1300?
Thanks,
Domi

Hello,
I want the XMC to run in hibernate domain when no VDDP is supplied. I want to run only the RTC and nothing else. I assume by setting some of the system control registers when the XMC is running I can configure what runs in the hibernate domain when VDDP is turned off. Is that correct? What do I need to set?
