XMC™ Forum Discussions
As far as I know, xmc7200 MCU has been newly developed and is in mass production. As you know, most of the development these days is done using Matlab. I don't understand that Matlab Toolbox is not supported to apply the newly developed MCU.
Please update it as soon as possible and let me know if you have a schedule.
If you don't have a schedule, I definitely ask you to develop a toolbox.

Show LessHi, I'm using a XMC4108 processor and want to generate an interrupt when I receive CAN RTR frames. I have this working, but for some reason I need to constantly set the DIR bit of the CAN receive Object or it will reset on its own almost immediately after setting it. I am using CAN_NODE_MO_ClearStatus(HandlePtr1->lmobj_ptr[2], XMC_CAN_MO_SET_STATUS_RX_ENABLE | XMC_CAN_MO_SET_STATUS_MESSAGE_DIRECTION); to set the DIR pin, am I doing that correctly or is there a better more correct way of doing it so I don't to make the call over and over?
Thanks, Rob
Show LessWe are trying to use the virtual COM port with Windows on an XMC4400 Eval board.
Basically we added the USBD_VCOM module in DAVE, and tried many different things in main function, but all with same result.
The processor just hangs in the while(!USBD_VCOM_IsEnumDone()), so USB is never enumerated.
Windows shows a device but after a few seconds Windows reports "Device descriptor request failed".
What could be wrong ?
status = DAVE_Init();
if (status == DAVE_STATUS_FAILURE)
{
XMC_DEBUG(("DAVE Apps initialization failed with status %d\n", status));
while (1U){
}
}
if(USBD_VCOM_Connect() != USBD_VCOM_STATUS_SUCCESS)
{
return -1;
}
while(!USBD_VCOM_IsEnumDone());
