I am using Dave 4 and a custom board based on the XMC4500.F100K. When adding the USB VCOM App, DAVE CE adds USBD_VCOM and USBD. Do I need to change anything on these blocks Like Transmission MOde is set to DMA and MAx EPs is 7?
For USB CLock, on the Clock_XMC4 it shows:
Requested USB PLL frequecy : 192 MHZ is this correct?
Also, Clock Selection Settings:
Enable USB/SDMMC ClocK:
Clock Source: USB PLL Clock
CLock divider: 4 Actual frequency 48 Mhz Is this correct?
In the main.c
Which functions should I need to call?
Can somebody provide at least the basic functionality?
The Application note uses USB_Glue which if I add to my project generate a bunch of duplicate errors during compilation . Show Less

Hello,
I can send the system into hibernate and wake it up upon RTC event but the HIBWK of the RSTSTAT is never set.
I always have 7 in that register after start (or 15 when debugging). I also couldnt find anything related in the errata sheet.
Could someone shed some light on this? Show Less

Hi all,
I'm working on XMC4800 EtherCAT with SSC tool. I've enabled EoE for my application, and I've given a IP address for the XMC. Now, how do I check the communication ? I mean, how do I check the Ethernet packages sent ?
Thanks in advance,

Hi there,
I need a simple on shot timer, which is causing an event/interrupt after a specific time. The accuracy of the timer needs to be about 1 us. Duration up to 100 ms.
Currently I am using SYSTIMER App, which is supporting One Shot Timer, but the accuracy is too bad, because SYSTIMER is based on a slow peridic timer.
I found further TIMER app, but this app can create only periodic timers.
What is the best way to implement one shot timer?

Hello Guys,
while creating schematic with the XMC1400 I experienced a problem with the VQFN48 package. In the datasheet on page 11 it tells me that the XMC1402-Q048 has got two POSIF units. BUT by comparing the Pinout on page 24 with the I/O mapping on page 34 and 36 one can see that POSIF1 is only mapped to P1.6/P1.7/P1.8 (for POSIF1A) or P4.1/P4.2/P4.3 (for POSIF1B). From all these ports only P1.6 is available with the VGFN48 package.
In the general documentation of the POSIF unit there is a MUX where POSIF1 A-D should be available. But lines C and D I cannot find in the documentation for XMC1400.
I hope i didn't get anything wrong. So is there any way of using this second POSIF unit (e.g. connecting two quadrature encoders) to the XMC1400 with the VQFN48 package or is there an Error in the documentation.
thanks in advance for your help

Hi,
Does someone know if there is any way to use a XMC4500 as a listen only can node. And if I receive a special message I will activate my tx and answer with may definde message. I should ignore all the other traffic on the bus. So I tried the analyzer mode but this does not work because it is not guaranteed that there are more nodes on the bus.
So it´s like a Wake on CAN or so.
many thanks

Hi,
Instead of sending data from the slave1 to the master and then to slave2, I would like to send the data directly over the ECAT frame from slave1 to slave2.
I could not find anything on this forum neither in the DAVE documentation.
Does anyone knows how to do this?
With regards,
