Hello,
I am looking for a XMC4500 based microcontroller board with standard I/O and programmability that is UL listed and rated for industrial applications. Before going down the path of designing my own board, I thought I could ask here to see if someone has already done something similar and is selling it so that we don't have to go through the annoying process of getting ours UL listed.
Basically what I am looking for is the XMC4500 Relax Kit, but UL listed.
Thanks Show Less

hello,
To test the Sense2GOL in use of Infineon tool box, I have been following the instruction of Sense2GOL kit by downloading all the according files - Infineon tool box and JLINK USB Driver
However, at the step of selecting debugger type I cannot choose "SEGGER" which does not appears in the drop-down menu. only "DAP" is available.
What i have checked so far:
- USB connection for Sense2GOL is properly set
- Sense2GOL works fine.
- uC-Probe-XMC works well.
Could you please how to solve this issue? Show Less

Hi,
I'm using the xmc4500 relax kit with FreeRTOS and the ETH_LWIP APP and FATFS APP with SDMMC. When just having the APPs installed (just two basic Tasks are running) I get a couple of warnings. Also tried a new project with
just the apps installed nothing else, same erros.
All errors are gone when using the apps without the RTOS. is this a configuration mistake on my side, or can someone explain to me why the Dave/Generated files are being build containing warnings?
Best regards,
Niklas

I'm stress testing my system and getting it to fail.
The system stops in the Default Handler. Typically the reference is to VADC0_G3_3_IRQHandler().
I don't think its blowing the stack. I've run uxTaskGetStackHighWaterMark() on several tasks (the most suspect) and the returned values isn't changing.
One thought is to assert an external pin in the default handler.
Any pointers are appreciated. Show Less

Hi,
I am trying to get the external Flash to work on the relax kit for the xmc4500 using the provided sample App SPI_EXAMPLE_XMC45.
I migrated the project to the XMC4500-F100x1024 architecture and modified the pin settings to the following:
Furthermore, in the App dependencies screen for SPI_MASTER_0, I used the following settings (in combination with all the different 4 clock settings):
Nonetheless, it seems that after a write-enable the returned status (see in the attached main.c:143) is 0 and not 2, therefore the operation fails.
I even had the provided flash chip on the relax kit card replaced with another flash chip from Cypress (S25FL128L) but I get identical results.
Any ideas what I am missing?
It would be great if a sample App was provided for the relax kit as well.
Thank you in advance. Show Less

Hi all,
i used the XMC flasher tool in Version 1.02 for several months, but no the tool is suddenly not working. It starts with the message "Unable to load segger dll switching to DAP".
I've already tried to reinstall the segger software package but without any success. Do somebody know how to fix this issue?

Hello,
I am having problems with a MicroSD Card on the XMC4500 Relax Kit.
I can not use the full SDMMC interface but instead I chose the SPI mode of the FATFS App.
The SPI signals are allocated to:
MISO P4.0 (SDMMC_DAT0)
MOSI P3.5 (SDMMC_CMD)
SCLK P3.6 (SDMMC_CLK)
SS P4.1 (SDMMC_DAT3)
I use the demo code of the FATFS App documentation.
This code passes
res = f_mount(&fs, "0:", 1);
without problems, but the next statement
res = f_mkdir("XMC4500");
returns with "FR_DISK_ERR"
The SDcard is OK, I tried various sizes, and various SPI Clock frequencies.
Any idea?? Show Less
