Does anyone know if the timers in the Infineon are 32 bit ( or even 32/64bit, like in the TI M4 ?)
All I can find is "includes new timer modules" - which is too cryptic. - but it does hint that the timers may be
better than the XC166, and closer to the TriCore ?
I hope Infineon have not made the mistake of putting 16 bit timers, into a 32 bit Microcontroller ?
For a part due to sample soon, and hit production before June, data is surprisingly hard to find.

Any kind of information and technical details will be provided during Embedded World 2012
Best regards

Ah. I see my first post has finally come out of a strange 'forum stealth mode'
