The BCCU module in XMC1000 (not available in XMC1100) provide flicker free LED lighting control.
It has a built-in flicker watchdog to eliminate flicker even at low brightness level.
BCCU is using Pulse Dentisy Modulation to control the LED brightness and at low brightness level, there are too many "0" than "1"
Hence, the flicker watchdog will then insert a "1" after a certain number of "0" which limits the number of consecutive "0" to avoid visible flickering.
The flicker watchdog can be enabled by setting bit CHCONFIGy.WEN.
