I have an XMC1302 project created in DAVE 4 that I need to analyze with PC-Lint. Are there any resources available for configuring PC-Lint for a DAVE 4 project?

I've found some good general information on setting up PC-Lint, but nothing specific to DAVE or the XMC series of microcontrollers.

Thanks!

Hi Scott,

make sure that you supply PClint with all necessary Include information: The location of the project header files and where Dave had stored the gcc header files. You will find them in your project setting for the compiler and the preprocessor.
I 've done this a while ago. But it was a two day job until all run smoothly. You have to deal with many messages.

Maybe that helped you a little bit.

I found a very good advice how to use PCLint within Eclipse:

http://mcuoneclipse.com/2015/12/13/linting-with-eclipse-and-the-gnu-arm-embedded-launchpad-compiler/

Much handwork but it make sense.

I just tested this advices with PC-Lint and Splint: It'd working like a charm

Kind regards
Kurt
